Very true... my hairline have been receding since my mid 20´s and only about a month ago i gathered my courage and trimmed everything down to 1mm, not because i want to but it is just starting to look too thin in the front... I would love to try one of these hairsystems to be able to have a hairstyle again... i hate having thinning hair but i can´t afford a transplant and rarely the outcome is anything what one hope. Perhaps i will be able to try one of these some day..

Dude.. this doesn't look fake at all.. a lot of people hate on men for weaing hair pieces to cover their balking, but women do this all the time to not only their hair with entire wigs even, but with make up covering their faces or making features look different than what they really look like and it's accepted as normall.. Weird that women are critics when men try to cover up their balding.

We did order the NEO model. It is fabulous. It was easy to cut the excess lace off the front, making the front and temple hairlines absolutely invisible. The density is a perfect "One size fits all because it is NOT a heavy density piece at all. Once it is washed and cream rinsed (conditioned) it blow dries quickly. And, the density is only light to light medium which made the use of a thinning shears very easy. Thinning this piece out for a "cut in" was easy and the hair indeed lays along the head as real hair would. Bravo to Lord Hair. :)

How often do you find you need to reglue the hairline? And how often do you redo the adhesive tape and start from scratch on the install? Finally, is there a certain amount of time you'd expect the hair piece is able to be completely removed and reinstalled before you'd need to purchase another? Fantastic video. Thank you for your help!
@Lordhair2 жыл бұрын
Glad you like the video, Cory! We could only speak in general terms because each individual will be different but someone might reglue their hairline every few days (depending how much they sweat/how active they've been) and then do a full reinstall once a week. As for lifespan, that really depends on the hair system (and the wearer) as hair systems are designed in different ways but you're typically looking at a few months.

Great video ! One question … doesn’t the glue get smelly when you sweat ? If yeas, how long does it take to start getting smelly ?
@Lordhair Жыл бұрын
Hi Luiz - it's not so much the glue as the scalp that will get sweaty/smelly over time. That's why it's important to pay attention to the health and state of your scalp and why people will remove and reattach their hair system every week or so (despite glue or tape being able to last longer than that). There's no way for us to say how long it would take your scalp to start to smell as that would depend on many factors such as your own body chemistry, how much you sweat, the climate you live in etc. However, with a regular removal and reattachment process, you shouldn't find smell an issue.

@Lordhair Жыл бұрын
There's actually no definitive answer to this as it all depends on the type of tape/glue the wearer uses and how their own body chemistry/climate/lifestyle affects the hold. In theory, hair system tape/glue can hold your hair system in place for four weeks (check with the manufacturer/what the product description says). Sweat isn't going to make your hair system fall off but it likely means you would have to reattach your hair system more frequently than someone who doesn't sweat as much. You might do a full reattachment like what you see in this video once a week but you will discover what works best for you.

Looks great. What’s the difference between a hair system and a toupee?
@Lordhair4 жыл бұрын
Hi Dianne! Good question! Hair system is a relatively new word coined by the hair industry as a way of differentiating this hair loss solution from the traditional toupee/wig that are often cheap, heavy-looking, made with synthetic hair and designed to be worn on top of your own hair. Hair systems blend in with your own hair, use human hair and are semi-permanent in nature as you can see in this video. Since wig/toupee are much more well-known by the general population, you will still see them used in reference to what we know as hair systems. We actually wrote a short blog about the different terms which you might find useful: www.lordhair.com/blog/difference-between-hair-systems-wigs-toupees/.

depends who is asking - some say there the same others say a hair system stays on for weeks, toupee usually taken off nightly
@djb13173 жыл бұрын
How do you start, do you have nay recommendations for all of it from the system to the glue and tape etc
@Lordhair3 жыл бұрын
Good question! There is plenty of content on KZbin (not just on our channel) so that could be a good starting point. Then, there is our website too. To help you decide on a hair system, first thinking about how you would like to wear your hair (exposing your front hairline or not, for example) and how long you'd like your hair system to last as the more natural a hair system (think of the base material and the way the hair is attached), the less durable it will be would be a good idea. Also, consider the climate you live in or how physically active you are (so, the breathability of the hair system). As for tape or glue, you may be best trying them both out and just seeing what works best for you. Please feel free to email us at support@lordhair.com and we'd be happy to help.

If your new and you don't know anyone who wears hair, I think you should start in a in a business that does hair replacement, depending on you, you learn and observe and you can take over, I did it for 2 years didn't miss a beat, then went back to a salon, always something new coming out and you can see someone else wearing it, or buy a unit like from lord and then go get a cut in, usually 175 to 250.

There are lots of different kinds of glue and we do not sell glue ourselves. If you are worried about a reaction, then, of course, test a little out first but you should also look for hypoallergenic glue.

Can u wash it just like normal hair?
@Lordhair2 жыл бұрын
You can but you just be gentler than you would with your own hair. Leave-in conditioners are also a good choice if you wear hair systems.

Okay where do I start- you taught anyone who was paying attention so much in 10 minutes it's hard to believe. Like the gaps between the tapes for draining and breathing I learned that 10 years ago, but nobody ever talks about it, your hair doesn't look awesome, it looks real. Instead of trying to look like a 35 yr. old Elvis. You did the correct thing you made the best version of you. and I don't use Glue any longer, I always get headaches when I use Glue, don't be like my wife and say it's all in my head lol duh. I agree with everything you do down to the glue. I used to use it, same glue. Now I use euro tape 360 degrees and don't have to change my hairline sometimes for 3 weeks. I know what you're thinking because your very smart. your thinking euro tape is too thick. It is until you use the teeth of a comb to press the lace down into it. Just sharing- you have one of the best videos I have ever seen- natural teacher. man, If I didn't get headaches, you make me want to go back to ghost glue. I hope Lord is at least paying for your Hair because you make beginners feel at ease. I enjoyed your presentation. If I would add one thing to it is showing people the easy way, to judge where the hair line starts. Trust me it's four fingers above your nose. Hey, I want to thank you, I have been wearing hair 17 years. and the way you explain and keep your words easy to understand and your tone... perfect. Now don't get mad dress better you're a good-looking guy. Hell, you need to get your name out there, I'm not kidding you should own or be working directly selling hair in a nice place. peace out little brother, Flatts Gonzales.

How does it come off though? Does a person just put water on it?
@Lordhair2 жыл бұрын
Water is absolutely fine with hair systems actually. 🙂 You can shower or swim in them as water doesn't affect the hold of the tape or glue. You need to spray on a specialist adhesive solvent to break down the tape or glue and then you'll be able to remove the hair system.
@politics14922 жыл бұрын
@@Lordhair Aha, ok, but, are there any adhesive that actually are water based, so that a person can actually take it off work water?
@Lordhair2 жыл бұрын
There are glues that are water-based but that doesn't mean they come off with water. One option may be a styling product. We know of one customer (Juha - maybe you've seen his videos on our channel) who uses got2b glued Blasting Freeze Spray to attach his hair system and that comes off with water.

We really wouldn't recommend trying this if you are unsure but here is a video that may be of use to you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pInQiad3a818m68. In it, Andrew demonstrates how he cuts his uncut unit from us. If you have a mannequin head to do this on then that would be better!

What's sweating like with one of these on 🤔
@Lordhair4 жыл бұрын
Fair question but you should find this particular hair system is more than breathable enough for you because most of the base is French lace.
@TheAndrewmcgrath4 жыл бұрын
I workout every day and it never feels uncomfortable or sweaty or gross. Just get a system with lace so your scalp can breath and be cleaned fully. :D

@@Lordhair How does he clean the hair? Can he take a normal bath and wash it or must he take it entirely off to wash the hair?
@Lordhair3 жыл бұрын
@@orhansoskic5788 Hi Orhan - you can wash the hair in the shower as you normally would. However, you need to take your hair system off to clean the underside of the base (you could then wash the hair in a sink).
@orhansoskic57883 жыл бұрын
@@Lordhair How often should you wash you hair in the shower and how often the lower part where you have to take it of your head? I am asking both because it would annot me if I had to take it of every 5-6 day to wash the underside. :( I had hoped you could wash the top every 3rd day and the underside maybe one time every 2nd week or so.

That's one of the best that I have seen. LordHair should make A contour the standard instead of CC. This shape is appropriate for the majority of hair wearers.
