Do NEFF do a compact version of this oven. I would like to have a full size and a compact size one above the other. I can't find any NEFF compact ovens that have the knob control and are just an oven without being a microwave in addition, which I don't want. Hoping you can help and thanks for such a fantastic overview, best I've found so far.

hey andy so sorry I havent been on in a while been busy with the dog, I love the slide and hide feature bit jealous I never knew it existed because I live in an apartment and only have a small kitchenette with a single oven+grill and when I grill I have to leave door open which I find very hard to use the grill and cook at same time as I have to reach over, I will look in to getting a slide + hide when I get a new oven i tried to take a picture to include in this comment to show you but it wont let me

Cleaning our Hide and Slide is not great, it has vents/ openings on the door if you spill anything it goes between the 2 sections if glass which means you have to strip the door apart.

Update on the Hide and Slide, still not loving it, if you spill something not only does it either go on the floor if the door is fully home, if not it goes down the vents and between the glass,but just done a pizza olive fell off and rolled down the back because by its very nature the door slides in at an angle. Also the digital display is a pain, and not user friendly, when you turn the oven on, its not actually on, only the display is, and you have to scroll with everything.

I like the oven. Thanx for the video. But the only problem is the cleaning the oven glass door. The instructions are not so clear to me. Im scared to use any cleaning products on it as it said in manual that only warm water should be used on it. My other half burns things in it 🤦‍♀️and I really dont like the look of it since its only 2 years old. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you 😊

You should be ok to use cleaning products on the glass to get it clean, as long as you clean off any residue before you put the oven back on

My old Neff was brilliant just so user friendly, reliable, kept its temperature and hob always fired up. Now we have replaced with a hide and slide,waste of money worse thing is its digital, so you have to push on about,push multiple buttons scroll through settings most which you'll never use. there is not 1 setting for oven...its Circotherm, or Circotherm eco , Circo roasting..or multiple others, I think most of this is a gimmick. The timer is also digital so you have to hold down the button while it scrolls past ,then go back, and forward. Why not just keep the manual dial timer, which you could just turn as fast or slow as you wanted.

I think the Hide and Slide is a gimmick really unless you live in a small apartment with a galley kitchen, when was the last time you actually needed to get you head write inside the oven..
