This guide will help you complete The Missing Pendant Secret Quest in The Lords of the Fallen (2023). This rewards you with the really good Umbral Eye of Ethyrg. You'll also unlock the Moving On achievement.

@@Dijitosame here. Byron doesnt leave anything behind and just stands there like a doofus. The only other diff is when you find Winterberry’s backpack, you obtain the strange coins item which is the same icon next to the pendent when you allow her to live.

It is a bit silly considering there’s no way to know to avoid it after killing the boss. Maybe if Byron has dialogue like “take the elevator and meet me at upper calrath after you’ve investigated the monster” then I’d understand lol.

yeah same here I messed it up. Winterberry is also gone and the Byron is standing up at the top with the elevator, and seems pretty happy. Did I miss major items? @@NinjaPups

@@Madxmanix yea got that but common, that has nothing to do with homework. I don't say they should make this obvious or easy or something like that but putting an elevator behind a boss to cut the quest it's dumb. Everyone would take that as you want to progress further. Not Tracking back or being forced to run, lets say, the umbral ending with no vestiges. Those kinda things are nothing else then a dumb design.

The area also leads to an important boss so there's more down there than just Winterberry. I personally loved the tense exploration of the Revelation Depths, to find a massive hidden area underneath the mines and sewers reminded me so much of Dark Souls 1. It also made me finally use the Seeds I had been saving.

Some tip for trophy hunters or someone who want 100%, you actually need to complete this quest in both ways, but you can fail it in both ways too (mb bug) if u got to Upper Carlath and didn't talk to Biron before going in depth, even after taking coins from Winterberry's camp there was no option to say truth to him. Recommendation: do it properly (saving Winterberry) at first time, because there is no Vestiges at ng+ and then you can tell him truth to get Rememberens and Catrin's pendant

So I did every step like shown in this video, BUT i'm on new game +0 so naturally I killed the lightreaper at the tutorial part of the game. I think because of this Byron won't show up at the Upper Calrath vestige, but luckily I checked underneath the skyrest bridge and they both were there. Got the achievement.

FYI, Skinstealer is super easy to beat if you equip the Bloodbane Ring (inflicting poison damage also simultaneously inflicts bleed damage,) and use Forsaken Grenades to keep the area full or poison gas. Skin-o is weak to both poison and bleed, so you get a quadruple-whammy, positively melting his HP away. He's also relatively easy to parry if you're used to parrying and have good reflexes for that sort of thing.

My game had full inventory the drainage control key isn’t in my inventory now bevayse I didn’t realise key items were counted with armour weapons etc why do they add key items to your inventory total so stupid

Not if you complete the quest successfully. if you mean the glowing lightsaber looking one, that's Pieta's boss sword. You can buy it from Molhu by clicking "Offer Remembrance" after soul-flaying Pieta's stigma in Umbral where you killed her. If you don't have access to the Remembrance tab in Molhu, you can unlock it with this guide: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5erq6CAotipis0si=-fe0H-ScncTvthNt if you mean the other swords, those are lightreaper's swords. You can get them the same way as pieta's, except you'll have to defeat him and soul-flay his stigma.

No. Once you see she has the pendant, go back and tell Byron and then you'll get the pendant upon quest completion

Thanks, but the game is taking the piss, i played darks soul s till elden ring and i always enjoy hard fights, but this is so ridiculous trash, they make the game just op and you don't have any chance lvl up /fast or even normal now because it's a grinding for nothing and they patch all good farms now you can't progress in the next are because you get one shot
