Yes , dress like Americans and like baseball, but no road rage, low crime rates, few homeless, not a lot of drugs around , very cohesive families and many don’t speak English. If they totally took on the American way they would be in deep shit ! I spend months at a time living in a totally Dominican area with my Dominican girlfriend who is much younger than me. Never had any problems, don’t wish too much of the American culture on these nice people
