I feel like this most probably wasn't actually said by Nintendo, but whether this was said or not, i can 100% see it being what they had in mind. As a really big Ganondorf fan, i was constantly impressed by how well his character was understood in this game. It was almost like the developers cared about him just as much as i did. While Ganondorf can be intimidating and powerful, that's honestly not what i care about with him. It's how much personality he has. He's not just the Demon King, he's the Gerudo king who rides the desert WITH A HORSE, puts the name of his 2 mothers in his weapons and waits for the hero to arrive while playing his own theme, and i feel like they really understood that.

I find myself revisiting this multiple times a day since I found it a right at the end of the year (2023 for future me) and this is what I call art!! Not to mention one of the best videos I've seen in a long time around totk. I'm going to be honest. If he had _actually_ done this as his grand entrance, and been totally invulnerable to Link's attacks at the time, it would have been the single coolest villain return moment in gaming history and unironically look amazing. A flex of just how powerful he is that Link cannot even concern him as he asserts his domain over the world via a dance ritual, simultaneously being incredibly sassy and being a reminder that this guy _does_ come from a people with a culture and doesn't just spawn out of a puddle of evil.

Fun Fact: It appears Ganon is based on an Oni, demonic Ogres in Japanese, known to wield iron kenabo (like one of the weapons he uses). Oni also have a tendency to dance in battle. So... This is indeed lore accurate
