This is probably over thinking but when fighting the new boss “Tenebrous Pillar” and it changes forms to mimic that of another life form, the symbol of a Triquetra but with three extra points covers the screen, which also matches that of Kaeya’s passive talent “Glacial Heart” which in Chinese translates to “Icy Abyss Heart” and even more overthinking but when Gosoythoth (the HEART OF THE ABYSS) creates a Triquetra in that split moment the points look a lot like peacock feathers(the eye spot is so obvious too).

While I love the Natlanese aesthetic and tech for the most part, I do agree that Mavuika's bike designs feels very 'plastic-ey'. I also expected her to have a Harley-like bike instead of the sleeker, more modern one we got.

Yeah I dont know why the devs do that man I realized why I had a problem with her bike when I dont have a problem with chasca gun and ajaw pixel aesthetic because I realized if they designs mavuika bike with some more dragon tech aesthetic like stone textures with glowing phlogiston like the jetpack that the main villain from chasca story quest wears I think I dont have problem with that or if they decided to give her old bike harley davidson style like ceasar bike from zzz I would be fine with that

I personally am fine with Natlan design because we do have the technological advances and its pretty much explainable where these tech come from, also if we look closely the design isn't that advance like its not plastic/literal metal shine, and still have like rough look to them (similar to dragons tech), I personally think what doesnt click for people is not the design particularly BUT how brightly color everyone and everything is, that these thing just stick like a sore thumb like Natlan is a hotch potch of multiple cultures compare to other nation who just have one color or primarily have one color which makes even more sense because Natlan is technically where all the element come from and natlan is made from small little nations.

1:38:12 I do have a problem with Mavuika’s bike. It DOES feel out of place. In a way that even Chasca’s gun and Kachina’s drills don’t feel out of place. And it’s not the fact that it’s high-tech that bothers me. The problem with Mavuika’s bike is that it could not have naturally evolved as a technology in teyvat. And none of the necessary infrastructure is there to support a motorbike. For Chasca’s gun: guns already exist all over teyvat. (Looking at you, fatui pyro gunner). All Xilonen did was make a big one that Chasca infuses with Anemo to fly. Twirly Whirly is just a drill. Which already exist on some of the mechs in fontaine. And the concept of a drill is really old. Like, there are prototype hand drills that were used hundreds and even thousands of years ago. Making one that can spin on its own with phlogiston is just another iteration on existing drill technology. Likely on existing hand-drills that the children of echoes have had for a long time. Ajaw and Mehrak are just existing tech in the world. Ajaw using ancient dragon tech. (Though his real body might still exist sealed away, if Ixlel is to be believed. That or his real body is long dead, and his consciousness got uploaded to Kinich’s watch. And Mehrak being Deshret’s ancient hologram tech. Like ASIMON. Scaramouche’s mech makes sense as well, since it was designed by Dottore, who studied Khaenriah’s ruin golems and the deshret robots. And the guys in Alhaitham’s story quest with the headsets were iterating on the akasha, which itself uses the computer-like irminsul and Rukkhadevatta’s innate understanding of it to function. But Mavuika’s bike DOES NOT HAVE existing tech that it could have iterated upon to become a motorcycle. Xianyun’s adeptal bicycle is an isolated exception that so far ONLY Mountain Shaper and Moon Carver have ever seen. No one in natlan could have used it as a basis for Mavuika’s motorbike. And it functions using mystical adeptal arts, not pure science. Mavuika’s motorbike also seems to have vulcanized rubber tires. Which don’t exist in teyvat. And some sort of internal combustion engine (likely one that runs on phlogiston in some way) to produce torque and turn the wheels. That concept also doesn’t exist in teyvat. Nor does the idea of a vehicle with 2 wheels where you put your legs on either side of it and use balance and forward momentum to not fall over. The only actual VEHICLES that exist in Teyvat are the aquabus and the wagons around Diluc’s winery. Neither of those could have directly inspired a modern motorbike. There would be hundreds or thousands of iterations between those and a motorbike. No one in teyvat (again with the exception of Xianyun, Moon Carver, and Mountain Shaper) have even heard of a bicycle before. How do you create a motorcycle with vulcanized rubber tires and internal combustion before creating a bicycle? When no one even knows what a bike is? It goes against logical chronology. And again, none of the necessary infrastructure for it exists. No factories for all the tiny intricate pieces. No paved roads anywhere in natlan. (No driveable concrete roads anywhere in teyvat actually. Bc all the roads in fontaine and sumeru were essentially sidewalks, not places for a vehicle.) The only acceptable explanations for it are: The Dragons created it or blueprints for it, because they could see beyond the firmament and into other worlds. (This theory is my favorite, bc their circular designs fit Mavuika’s bicycle perfectly.) Or Alice gave Xilonen some kind of schematics for it since SHE can see into other worlds. And this would neatly solve the problem. Because the dragons DID have super advanced tech and the ability to see into other worlds. They also had access to computers (since Ixlel’s consciousness is literally uploaded into the stone statue) and concrete (what I assume the tonatiuh is made from, since it doesn’t just look like stone carving.)

I think i can better express/summarize now what the problem is with Mauvika's bike design is, based on all the comments. It's that it looks too much like a product, something you could go into a dealership and buy. Sure, its flashy but thats not a bad thing, its also too smooth and engineered and corporate. Because even if the material looks like plastic/fiberglass if the shape and design was more mmm angular or imperfect or less aerodynamic or even more draconic then it would be a lot easier to accept that its a one of a kind creation for her. It's probably a good thing they didn't lean into the ruin guard look for it because then everyone would say it's copying the Mastercycle especially if it looked a bit animalistic. And while a more steampunk/dieselpunk design would be appropriate i wonder if they also nixed that to differentiate Natlan from Fontaine more strongly. I think they could have made that work if they pulled elements from ancient dragon tech motifs into it but went with obsidian instead of grey... Hmm

I can safely say that this is by far one of the most fun streams i have watched on youtube and i now understand why people would wont you to do it more... its a lot of interesting subjects, mythology and rambling from someone who makes it funny no matter what is the topic. It made me imagine being in a Tavern watching a Storyteller witch is insane. Also i didnt know who the guest was but god its really nice the dynamic both of you created during the stream (witch i thought i wasnt going to get adicted, and i was so wrong...) both can pull crazy rabbit holles out of almost nothing that keep you pulled in but Rooze is the coffee and ashikai is like trying to be a refined tea both can be unhinged but the result of these substances its a crazy mess of thoughts and it surprisingly works well and keeps me wake for 5 hours i do not need caffeine anymore XD.

4:08:43 "Ronova governs over the gateway between life and death" It made me think how Natlan has those transparent gold and blue bugs floating all over... and the same bugs but exclusively in gold color appeared in that one Deshret quest where you're finding the way to Aaru, which in Genshin was supposed to be this paradise people could ascend to, and in our world is the Egyptian concept of paradise where dead people can go. And the Deshret location where those bugs appear is supposed to be the final threshold before arriving into this paradise. And given the whole Ode of Resurrection business? Ronova really could be governing not the concept of death itself, but the process of transitioning from one state to another.

32:03 The vision talk reminded me that I've been thinking of the sage's words maybe more literally because of Nahida's story quest with all the physical form changing. I've been sitting with the idea that visions aren't "granted", so much as they are "awakened" as the physical manifestations of draconic power by people with particularly strong draconic bloodlines, thanks to dragons-as-humans in the family tree (but I don't know that this holds up a ton when we consider yōkai or adepti?). And the reason the archon's have said they have no control over it isn't totally true, it's just Ei specifically being the god of eternity in relation to visions as they relate to evolution (since we know Neuvillette portioned off some of his authority for humans to claim). Or maybe you're right and the thrones are a mix of draconic authority and archon ideal, and it's both together that triggers something in the manifestation of visions. Aaaah I don't know, I just wanted to write this down before I forgot it again lol.

You hit the nail on the head re: Mavuika's bike I think. It's just a bit too similar looking to something you could get in RL (although, if I saw it in RL I'd call it tacky 😂). Her helmet as well, is basically just a modern bike helmet. Xilonen also seems like a very modern character (a DJ rocking jean shorts who makes fashionable chunky jewelry) that has been shoehorned into Teyvat's setting as a blacksmith (close enough to a jeweler, right team??) Then again I just haven't been enjoying the character design for Natlan as much as the other regions, so maybe I'm biased. I get the feeling the design team wants to be working on a different (scifi) game which hurts my fantasy loving heart! ETA: I would DIE for a Ashikai video edited by Rooze omg 🤣

Regardless the DJ Mixer table doesn't bother me, Natlan's tech has been consistent with one another, and I have no problem with nations having different levels of technological advancement. While Natlan is the closet to the dragons and can, and do, study dragon tech. While constantly at war with the Abyss which results in the need to advance. Just because they're tribes doesn't mean they can't be advanced but still keep to their traditional roots. I digress, I know this was about the design on the motorbike, not the fact she has one. I do agree somewhat about the 'plastic' look, but I guess it just doesn't bother me because we've always had tech throughout the game and though it looks too 'modern' for some, that is just the style they chose for Natlan. Every Nation has their own style. I think the bike is supposed to look like a dragon, I could be wrong on that. Either way, I understand where you're coming from about the design. We're all going to have our own personal feelings and opinions, and all are valid.

Very underbaked thought 53:25 we know that Nibelung understood enough about the abyss and forbidden knowledge to try to weaponize it against the Heavenly Principles. Could the Shuttle of Odara be from before Nibelung’s war? And since he became unrecognizable after and the war was pretty devastating for the entirety of Teyvat, maybe sentiment turned against the Abyss for the dragons (or the Sage, at least).

They better explain Maviuka being the pyro archon (of old) had some learnings from the ancient dragon tech and learnt to engineer a motorbike. Or at least had some tech trade with Fontaine. Also it's pretty apparent they had great inspiration from *Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children* and wanted to be as cool.

47:00 The Feixiao/HSR x Fate StayUBW trailer very deliberately alludes to Archer Emiya being the collab character as he's who's voice we hear at the end of the trailer. I wouldnt say Gilgamesh is notably known for having a Lion although he's sometimes depicted with one as he is THE Gilgamesh of The Epic of Gilgamesh fame. Artoria (King Arthur) is known for having Lion imagery as she's also known as The Lion King in her Lancer iteration during the Camelot story of Fate Grand Order and in side media she sometimes there are plenty of jokes alluding to lions. Fate's Gilgamesh is known for his Gate of Babylon, his arrogance, and various other things but least of all lions. The HSR x UBW collab is more likely to include; 1. Archer Emiya 2. Rin Tohsaka 3. Shirou Emiya 4. Artoria Pendragon In that order as the collab character before Gilgamesh as he doesnt play that much of a role until near the end of UBW and even then he's dealt soon after.

Death and rebirth has always been connected in hoyo games, for example Seele becomes Herrscher of death/rebirth after she connects to Sea of Quanta. She also loses her body in the process and creates a new one so she's basically reborn. It makes sense why Ronova has control over death and rebirth.

I dont know if anybody ask this in the stream but I have a question about the last interlude archon quest or if anybody can answer this please do, so capitano said guthred the guy who possesed ororon during act 4 is also the guy who invented the healing potion for abyss mind corruption and capitano said he died because he tested the drug on himself to invented it but how can he die tho? Like from what I know all pure blood khaenrians are immortal and guthred eyes seems pure blood and he's also a quite high ranking knight so why he can die and capitano just say it easy like that? Because khaenrians cant die right? Even capitano body already rots but he cant die and clothar is an exception because the game explitcitly tells clothar died is a mystery (sry for bad en)

my understanding (although I could be wrong) was that Guthred died during the cataclysm but before the curse. So Capitano is cursed because he lived long enough to be cursed, but others like Guthred were already dead and therefore were not cursed. That being said, I'm not sure exactly when during the cataclysm the curse happened so I could be very wrong.

The motor bike bothers me because it is now such a big part of her kit. Why? She didn’t use it at all in the quests. I was hoping for the power house we saw in the battle with Capitano, or when she blew the hole in the sky. That is why I don’t like the bike. It has no place and has no connection. As a transport tool, fine, but most of her kit is based on that bike. It just loses the kappow factor for me.

I feel like (i do not interact with leaks) bike is a power of pyro archon. There were nothing about how power of archon transferred, but having object that incarnate power that can actually be transferred... So having “object of old era” that serves as container for power will make sense. We had a lot of teasing on tech stuff for region and maybe that was the reason for it (and backwards). Especially, now we have instances of attempts of repurposing old technology it is just feels thematically sensible
