Well Garagrim was pretty stupid, he should have known his father had no choice but to swear the oath when he was unable to protect his heir. I mean...their ancestor was forced to take the oath because he could not protect his daughter. So....yeah....Garagrim was not the sharpest axe in the arsenal obviously....

35:02 you forgot, ungrim threw him and the surviving ogres into a cell full of orcs, certain they would kill the ogre, and when he checked several months later, he found the maneater had killed and devoured all the orcs and ogres, aside from one ogre (though he did eat one of that one's legs) instead, and impressed, ungrim decided to release the ogre. Or is this an example of the conflicting histories between the novels and the army books?

+Jack Burton My favorite faction/race are the dwarves, I just love the whole Grudge aspect, my least favorite one are the Skaven. Even though I find the Skaven to be somewhat funny I dislike them. My favorite character so far are between Malus Darkblade and Nagash. Malus because he is not a typical 1 dimensional bad guy and he is also very human in nature as far as not being like perfect, making lots of mistakes but learning from them and working around them. I love Nagash just cuz of the fact that he is the one man who defied the Gods, that is one huge accomplishment, specially when you take into consideration that he was a horrible spellcaster at first.

​@@JABelms I dont know mutch in Skaven lore but i find it strange that they can be overpowered in there lore when they are so weak indevidualy in game. each skaven look weak but i can imagen that they hade overpowered numbers to simply swarm over there enemys as some units have almost 2X the unit count of other factions.

I should probably be happy that Ungrim died a heroic dead since Thorgrim's dead was BS, F the End Times. Great video, really cool how you make pretty epic story out of the historical battles that don't have much info and feel like something the characters would do, also nice touch with Garagrim's supposed death being simulair to how he died in Storm Of Chaos. I agree that the way Deathblow seems to work seems a bit of, personally i think he should get a buff if he goes below half his health, it would make engaging him in close combat riskier. However i am glad that Ungrim really is a lord you would use for attacking, to put it in a Dawi way, Thorgrim should be the stable rock grinding down the enemy while Ungrim is the runic axe that keeps swinging and never grows dull.

How could a slayer be crowned a king? By forcing to take the slayer oath u must have done something to dishonor your family, Hold or the dwarfs faction in general. Any1 that´s taken the slayer oath is basicly without honor and will fight anything large untill there death in hope of having regained that honor the day they die in battle.

The original slayer king belegor was the original king of kadrin and he took the slayer oath but he never died. And so the slayer oath kept getting passed down because each slayer king after that never died except to old age

But still that dosent shange the fact that to take the oath in the first place u would have to have done something REALLY REALLY shitty in the eyes of the dwarf race. It dosent really make sense from a standpoint of honor to keep giving the future kings a title associated with basically betrayal. The title does sound cool as hell for a king but the fact that u can by put in the book for the most simple things and your family may pay for it 200 years later. By giving this title to there future kings they are basically saying "Our king has no honor untill he proves it otherwise in death" The title sounds cool but in there dwarf honor society it´s just wack.
