He also nuked the planet because he knew its husk would become a shell of a stronger world which can endure. He even saw a future where he succeded with the power of the Eye of Sheerian. In addition, the Eye of Sheerian grants its wielder the future that's going to happen. And, In my opinion, he can defy the fate because he is the "Chosen One" and the only Chaos related character who has a free will. Even the Chaos Gods are slave to their worshippers and sentinent beings emotions. We also know that he hates all the Gods and those who worships them. He wants mankind to be free. He tried to create a Godless world where every mortal has an ability to choose their own fates. His AoS plan: In this setting, Archaon is so powerful that the Chaos Gods are actually fear him. He also became the newest player of the Grand Game after the Great Horned Rat. He is probably slightly stronger than the Great Horned Rat which makes him the 5th strongest character in the setting. Inside the Warp, every creature see him as a Giant Black Hole so, he even has a Warp form. Fun fact, when the daemons of Khorne saw him inside the Warp, they thought Khorne was coming to destroy everything in his path. Even though the lore states that he is the demigod of Chaos, most of the mortal warriors hold him in a higher position than the Chaos Gods. He is probably the newest Warp God in the setting because of his feats and the statements of the lore. As for his plan, he realized its meaningless to end all life. Because, he already destroyed several universes in the AoS. When the all Realms are drained by him (he will be as strong as the combined power of the Chaos Gods), he's going to push the war inside the Warp. He wants to enslave the Chaos Gods to his will (probably to ensure not losing his free will) and create a world where strong and smart mortals live however they wish. You may think Archaon as the anarchist Emperor of Mankind.

I really hope that Bloodspeaker concept art is old, as I honestly thought it was just a basic marauder from how lackluster it looks. Would have really preferred Snagla being a LL so we could have a LL of each subraces, and was also very surprised by another Night Goblin hero, though that does conveniently keep the Black Orc Warboss and Savage Orc Big Boss for a future dlc with Gorfang, Morglum, or Gitilla so that's cool. Ogres I was also expecting a Maneater Captain, though the Paymaster looks really cool as well, and I think the new units will offer more to Ogres than any of the other 2 races units will to their playstyles Overall pretty happy other than Snagla, and the Bloodspeaker. Please let the Bloodspeaker not look like just a basic marauder

Commenting on this a bit late, but I just wanted to say that at a certain point, you guys always get to a point where "you need to speed up" and you start trying to lightning round these questions. I'm not saying there's no way to trim some of the fat, but I think most people would agree they watch for the long-winded answers, not for rushed, one sentence replies. Better to handle fewer well than more in a superficial way.

I think with Greenskin they are trying to be as diverse as possible with this DLC. So far we have: - Regular Orc: Gorbad - Savage Orc: Savage Orc Great Shaman - Black Orc: Black Orc (Sword & Shield) - Forest Goblin: Snagla - Night Goblin: Night Goblin Big Boss - Squig: Colossal Squig So we are still missing at least Regular Goblin and non-squig monster. My prediction are: - Regular Goblin: Goblin Spear Chukka/Bolt Thrower - Monster: Bonegrinder Giant These still left us with one more unit slot which could be Savage Orc Big Stabba or Mangler Sguig or a variant of Goblin (and they put Goblin Spear Chukka/Bolt Thrower in "Warmachine" category). In any case, I agree that Greenskin has enough uniques units for another DLC. Ogre is a bit mysterious. I originally though we are going to get several variant of Maneater (the Ninja, the Araby, etc.) because I thought Gnoblar will be its own DLC. With Eshin Ogre become RoR and we get one Gnoblar unit, they only lack one more unit slot, and it is either going to be a variant (like Thundertusk with range weapon or something) or it is going to be another Gnoblar (though for each added Gnoblar, it mean one less possibility for a Gnoblar DLC). My out of the box prediction is that instead of a fifth unit, Ogre get Lore of Death or Lore of Heaven for their Slaugthermaster and Butcher (though I feel like this will be an update/FLC instead of part of DLC). I don't know enough about Khorne, but I think there is enough units from End Times (3 units) to fill in the still unkown unit slots.

Ogres are looking to be my favorites among the 3, they look like they have a lot of fun and interesting units. Looking forward to the DLC.

Regarding the Daemons of Chaos not having a tech tree: Technically the favour unlocks that also grant the equipment are the tech tree. Unit bonuses usually unlocked by techs are gained through that system instead.

I really appreciate adding chapters to the stream afterwards. That must have been a bunch of work.

The only thing im disappointed by are the Black Orcs with Shields. Im still really happy theyre gonna be added to the game mind you, but i would have preferred they added a completely new unit for the DLC slot. But besides that, i absolutely love everything else thats coming in this DLC. Great work from the devs
