I actually really love the lore for the Wolf Riders. They see that even with how powerful the bad moon is it still eventually flees from the sun. And being Greenskins they thought damn this sun guy must be pretty strong we should worship it instead. So they take sun metal theyve pillaged from the Lumineth and use it to make artifacts that store the sunlight as they chase the sun and use it blind their enemies or light them on fire. God AoS is so peak

Peak Destruction ideology of “Might makes Right!” 💪 (I love that’s why the Sons of Behemat don’t have any hard feelings towards the Draconith who hate & attack them for working with Kragnos, tho they see the dragons as cousins, almost kin, as fellow god-beast spawn(Behemat & Dracothion) but respect their animosity as is the right of the strong so no hard feelings) Also just beautiful how AoS can take a Wfb concept like a catapult launching a spike head gobbo and crank it up to 12 that the catapult is now a huge chariot pulled by a clawed yak-boar hybrid monster and the spike gobbos Also use sun-magic helmets to ignite themselves and all the explosives they strapped to themself. 💥 Also their chariots use explosive magic moondust to give themselves a huge speed boost and go full Mad Max if the aesthetic wasn’t enough.

I was having a terrible week. This reveal literally made it back. Besides Karandras (who's probably coming back next edition), it's everything I wanted for the Aeldari. The Gitmob release also sold Gloomspite Gitz as the best Destruction faction there is. I mean...they already were, but now it's official.

So as a Lumineth main, the Gitmobs have some super fascinating lore in regards to Hysh and specifically Sunmetal. Specifically they can use it. Meaning the Sunmetal Weapons that were exclusively a Lumineth thing aren't powered by the Lumineth. It's fascinating!

In dnd lore, Worgs are intelligent and are sometimes the true leaders of goblin tribes with the “chief” have to honor of riding it into battle. Like the idea of intelligent dire wolves 🐺 secretly having tamed and powerbroakers of tribes of goblins.

I loved the Empire Of Man Mini's also I don't know if he noticed it or not but I loved the Mini of what seemed to be a Beast Wizard on a Two Headed Griffon. It is awesome though did we ever have two headed griffons in the lore before this?

With respect to the old world, I think you have to consider a couple of things. I have heard that GW is production limited, that is they are making as many mini's as they can without building new factories, every new release comes at the expense of the quantities of existing product they can make. I think they could have launched the game with either a handful of factions with new minis, or a significant number with the existing minis (9 is a significant number). I think the better option would have been to do the imperial civil war as the first edition and just focus on building out that army with new minis.
