My comments on Talent Recap when they posted this: This is what I have been hoping for: a pretty equal split in preference, and a lot saying they love both equally. It’s personal choice, and for the most part, comments have been respectful for those that prefer 1 over the other. There was probably an unintentional bias in the video in the audience reaction. Talent Recap showed 2 seconds of applause for Loren after she finished the song, and 10 seconds for Sydnie.

Yes, I'm both a Loren fan and Sydnie huge fan now. For me, I think both sang it equally as good, but Sydnie's version is much better. Her interpretation and stage presence was phenomenal, it was as though she was feeling every note and her enunciation and accentuation of certain lyrics during the song was incredible, and she extended her notes longer, creating that chilling experience, where Loren was shorter in her notes, I.e. that last note at the end and less expressive in the words, such as lemon drops and chimney tops, where Sydnie expressed them perfectly accentuating them, with that incredible tone and twang in her voice. Sydnie all the way, but still love Loren! As Simon said, that was something really, really, really special with personal meaning that the whole audience felt, not to mention the viewers around the world! I definitely felt it and have been playing her songs over and over and over again. You should react to her new music video, Starlight Express, which was fantastic as well, and she's just released her My Way music video.

*Actually Amanda Holden is the judge that gave both of them the golden buzzers. The performance of Loren was on AGT Champions. When Sydnie did the song, it was only after Amanda contacted Loren to video message Sydnie....because she didn't want to sing it since she saw Loren's performance & lover her as a artist. But Loren herself convinced her to do it.*

Hey man, Lucy sings the original version with her guitarist. These are the new version especially created for a singing competition. Don’t be like Wilbur and bring Lucy into these matchups. Or like Steve Heckle who goes on Lucy songs and denigrates her because he pushes Morissette.
