The first time I heard this song as a little girl, I was in absolute awe of the voices of Céline Dion and Barbra Streisand! If you had told me back then that I would be asked to perform it with David Foster and Pia Toscano, I truly wouldn’t have believed it. So honored to have shared the stage with them. But needs bit more of dynamics and real emotions to enliven the performance to make it scintillating that the listeners are vulnerable to be overwhelmed ! That's the traits of an exceptional performer ! Artiste must strictly adhere and incorporate the composer's markings only exceptions were assented for the baroque period performers to adorn the aria with ornaments and render according to their preference ! This is the Grammy performance I was looking for. True talent. Both are opposites of each of other, thus both compliment one another perfectly. Loren’s soft voice w/ a little rasp. Her voice is so addicting & sucks you in. Pia is powerful & she can hit those high notes with great resonance, which is so so hard to do. Bravo!
