hey man i need some help ive tried like 3 times and it keeps saying download failed the latest error code was: Missing Manual Downloads Wabbajack was unable to download the following archives automatically. Please download them manually and place them in the downloads folder you chose during the install setup. SCAR-v2.01.7z Unknown download type then there was a download link and when i go to it its just gives no info at all. i followed step by step and the only thing that i think was different for me was when i open creations it didn't just close after loading it made me move files first and then it stayed open other than that i think i did it all right ive got no idea what else could be the issue

Make sure you antivirus is off and reopen wabbajack if it fails to download and it will retry to download the missing files. It happens sometimes with wabbajack its normal.

I'm fairly new to Wabbajack, but what advantages does it have over Collections? (Genuinely curious) - I assume it makes installations easier, where you don't have to manually install each mod (This is me assuming as I dont really know), and it saves each fomod's settings?

Easier installation. Bigger Modlists to download. Automatic installation of everything and mod setup. Thats pretty much it :)

@@apotheosis2624 Yeah lorerim really is the good stuff.. You can also try Nolvus Ascension which i also made a guide on how to install it. But you cant have both on pc so play them in order :)

@ScubaDaddy As a question, would you consider nolvus a little less hardcore? Like lorerim is cool, but I'm not a huge fan of enemies doing so much damage or I do alot of damage. I still like the vanilla base of damage numbers or at the very least, I dont want it to feel like I'm playing dark souls since I still like exploring and adventuring without being super wary.

@ Lets put it this way. Nolvus is hard but easier than lorerim and is more on the JRPG style. Lorerim is more medieval combat but hard as hell.

The unlock button is for pple like me. Its used when you mess up downloading mods and try to run the game, but your tower is like nah. Its a e-stop on your way to task manager.

Yeah i had it on an SSD not an NVME and it had issues with loading and graphics.. On HDD its just too much... you will have infinite loading screens and the graphics will not load at all at cities and such.

@@boki424 1. You need to have a premium account in nexus mods and tou will have to log in. 2. Yes any antivirus especially defender willl block stuff and ruin your download. I suggest disabling it completely and then redownload everything from the start. Go and also delete all mods from mod folder so its fresh. Any failed download will crash you afterwards

You skipped a step. You are supposed to clean all of Bethesda’s dirty content files. It used to not be bad however anniversary edition came with a ton of new files with dirty edits in them.

Hi if you try to install Lorreim 3.0 I hope you post about it. My install of Lorerim 2 and 3 has failed repeatedly at the download stage and I gave up. So any help is appreciated. I disabled the virus protection and followed the Wabbajack instructions, and yet the same 25 or so mods files to download each time. (Three attempts so far.) And when I try to check installation the same thing happens. When I run the Modorganizer it doesn't detect all the Lorerim mods. I think maybe you skipped a step because my mod organizer does not show a LoreRim option in the Run window.

Although for the race i am pretty sure it should be fine but please if you know how to mod watch out for the freaking paper maps.. i swear as soon as you add an extra small ant in the game everything goes purple on the map🤣🤣

Not sure if your still answering questions but when clicking download i get nothing butt error messages and "unable to download" in the left box on wabba. I have followed your instruction to a T i belive but still cant get it to downloading everything. 1. Fresh intalls for skyrim/creation club and wabba 2. 780 GB of free space 3. ran skyrim and waited for it to download the AE stuff 4. turned of firewalls 5. started up wabba and ran the download getting but the stuff mentioned above

Started with a fresh install then waited for the creation content to download. Tried to exit the game and got stuck on a black screen. Reset the pc only to validate and 2 files missing. In the wise words of Todd Howard it just works

On the other tab you can get spells OR if you invest skill points in destruction or any magic school you can get two spell books of your choosing! man i cant ger it to download. Living Skyrim 4 downloads fine, Lorerim says during mod installation "unable to download" for every single mod, then it fails installation after 5 minutes.

@@j-rabbit7424 check that you have enough space and that you diwnloading in the correct drive because sometimes even if you change the download folder it is still downloading on the wrong one. Also make sure its no a downloads folder. Download it inside you drive directly. Not program files.

@@eduardojimenez7434 mod orginizer is a threat to any antivirus for some reason. Try and check if you antivirus has quarantined it or just close antivirus and do a check of files in wabbajack > lorerim

Couple things: 1) I got an error from Wabbajack saying missing manual downloads. 2) I don't have that Mod organizer exe to open it like you do. In my folder where the contents were downloaded from wabbajack i have a ModOrganizer 2.4 4 and 2.5.0 folders. I see the application and open it but have no idea how the 35476 mods got in there for you.

@@alexm589 First make sure you have no antivirus running at all. VFS files get flagged for some unknown reason. Also make sure you download with stable internet and follow the steps in the video very carefully. Every step matters even the smallest thing like not alt tabbing out when the anniversary edition is downloading the creation club content.

​@ScubaDaddy I followed very closely. I have creation club downloaded. I see it on my desktop but don't know how to have it on tools in steam. But I see all my files in my D drive from wabbajack. But the folder says "downloads" yours says Lorerim. And when I open the folder you have MO2 exe there as in the video but my wabbajack downloaded multiple folders and just opens the blank application.

@@callum105 well if your missing creation club files you need to reinstall them. Make sure when its downloading when you open the game you do not Alt Tab from the game or click anything at all. Leave it there to do its thing for a few minutes. Also yes disable one drive

@@WalkingLegacy probably was deleted by an antivirus while downloding. Make 100% sure you have no active antivirus when downloading.. even windows defender will delete stuff.

Tried to search up an answer to this question everywhere but i'm still stuck: Whenever i get mo2 up after ive downloaded the lorerim modlist, I try to start up lorerim but I get the error "MO2 Can't find SkyrimSE.exe" I have no idea how to solve this issue, ive tried fixing the paths in mo2 settings even. Yes I have a legit steam version of Skyrim SE with the anniversary package, and yes I installed the game outside of Program files. Have no idea why Mo2 can't find the correct path. Any help would be much appreciated.

If its in a modloader and says unlock it means that dont press anything and eait for the game to start. I dont know why it pops up but its not a problem. If its a white box then its the installation. Some antivirus corrupted the file. Close alll antivirusus before starting installation

@@ScubaDaddy Hey buddy thanks for the reply, I looked into your advice and even though I did have windows antivirus disabled the setting called "Real-time protection" will automatically reactivate after a period of time. I've found a way to disable the reactivation feature and will try to reinstall lorerim now. Fingers crossed it works correctly this time.

Great tutorial! But, I have a problem. I have successfully downloaded all the lorerim mods, but when installing, it failed. It says im missing files like dragonplate.bsa. Turns out, those are alternative armors from AE (Daedric, dragonplate/scale, spell knight, etc). However, i do own the skyrim AE, but when i go to CC, those alternative armors are not owned. I have to purchase them! is it normal

@@sedhotwcjogja3527 You don’t have to purchase them. When you open skyrim for the first time it downloads all the bsa files files for AE. If you so much as alt tab once to click anywhere. It could lead to files not being installed. Also when downloading from wabbajack you need to disable all antivirusus and be careful when you disable windoes defender, because it will re open it self at some point. Missing files is either not complete installation of AE files OR antivirus blocked the download from wabbajack.

@ No worries! So the only way to fix this is by doing a clean installation of everything. Unistall everything and go into the steamapps folder of skyrim and delete all content inside the folder. Then download skyrim first. Before you run it, run the creation kit and then run skyrim and let it download the AE files without touching your pc. Them close skyrim and download lorerim in the same drive as the game. Once that is complete you should be able to play lorerim without any issues.

T_T This is my first time buying the skyrim SE along with the AE to try lorerim. But, in the main menu, when i press the download button, it instantly tells me that all files have been downloaded. @ Well the only downside to Lorerim is that even if one file goes wrong in download. You have to redownload the whole thing🥲. If this happened with the AE files it means the files did not get downloaded the first time successfully so the next time it tries to download if you do not delete the entire skyrim folder from steam then it will stop downloading and say it downloaded them in an instant. It takes about 10 minutes to download AE files.

@@Will-h8p On modOrginizer2 on the top left there are 3 options. Performance, Normal, Ultra. Performance 1080Ti, Normal 3080, Ultra 4080 and above. This is a specification requirement for each profile. Now i am planning on making another video on how to improve graphics on performance mode without losing FPS so stay tuned for that.✌️

I downloaded the package today and pressed the play button, but it gave an skse error. I downloaded and installed the ae edition 1.6.640. This time it gave a rell error because the game modes were installed for 1.5.97. What should I do as a solution? Updating all the modes to 1.6.640 is impossible and a waste of time, but Skyrim Does downgrading help? thank you very much in advance

@@BrokenNomad the modpack is for AE latest version. Please make sure to open the AE version first and download all the extra content. Disable all antivirusus you have. Delete all mods downloaded by wabbajack and re download everything. There is no need for downgrading your game. If you follow the steps in the video with clean game and mods it will 100% work.

Place it in a folder in a drive (not in program files) and give exception to that folder and application in windows defender. Then try again. If it doesn’t work again the only reason this could happen is your internet connection is unstable and disconnects while downloading.

I know this is probably a long shot as to if anyone will respond to this, but I wanted to say when I ran the Skyrim creation kit it started copying 16,100 items from Scripts.zip to my data folder. Was this supposed to happen? Am i fucked now? Will update later.

When you run the tool it should add some files inside the data folder but idk about a popup that says how many and stuff.. I wouldn't be too worried though it is a legit application so there are no issues with it.
