keep in mind you would never see this athlete competing in a major competition in the 90’s, but tons of athletes came to competitions at that time with even lower degree of skills. sure, this routine couldn’t contend with the best then, but it’s no where near the top now either. she has some decent skills, a double pike third pass was considered solid in the 90’s. this isn’t a top routine now, so how about comparing the double double’s and full twisting double layouts of todays top gymnastics instead of this routine to previous ones.
