It's very reassuring that Lori is well taken care of. She would have already been dead if Wildlife Rescue team would not have rescued her and Amari. As a result of Lori's injury, her eyesight is poor if not blind as is Amari, who is also diabetic. May be reason why Lori did not get proper nourishment when Amari was nursing her!

Does anyone else see that the food thats being given to Lori and Amari isnt a standard diet for Macaques? In the wild they eat very little fruit. I know living at the temple tourists feed them continually sweet,sugary foods that are not a normal part of their diet but why is the "rescue" agency doing it?

@@larrystultz8716 agreed. I dont know what the other person is talking about 80% fruit diets. Humbug i tell ya ! I dont see the moms as bad though. I do see lazy behavior and begging rather than foraging. The monkeys of Arroz's videos in Hong Kong are incredible specimens. But there feeding the wildlife is prohibited save a few old timers. Less human contact=healthier wildlife.

@@ebenezerscrooge6542 and let's not forget, the Hong Kong macaques are an entirely different breed. Rhesus vs. Long tailed. Comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges. Long tails are fruit eaters, it takes very little research to see that

@@dogmoms2798 SMH. We arent talking about biological similarities. Their diets are almost identical dispite being different types of macaque. Their bone structure, digestive,respitory,circulatory, brain size etc are the same. The length of the tail,color of their fur shape of the eyes are superficial differences. SO LET'S NOT FORGET THAT!!!!! Smh
