Welcome back to day 5 of Happy Haul a Days! Today we are heading to the Goodwill Outlet in New Hampshire! It's always an adventure at the bins! I had two special guests with me! I hope you enjoy it. Be sure to hang out until the end to hear the deal of the day! xoxo

I’ve been thinking of your mom since it’s close to the anniversary of your father’s death. I hope she’s hanging in there. Holidays can always bring the grief back. ❤

Your "Haul a Day" videos are the best Lori! I simply adore seeing Lumpy being such a happy puppy. If you could let me know what size and condition the Ninja Turtles is I'd be interested. My son watched the NT all the time when he was little. And you are so lucky to still have your mom...I miss mine terribly every day. Thank you!

I loved Petite Bateau when my son (now 44) was an infant! Also loved writing with a fountain pen when I was a teenager (I think I used a Schaefer pen with cartridge refills). Thanks for the memories, Lori. Happy Holidays Season!!

Love your videos Lori! Agreed on kids clothing- I always check it while in the bins. Super easy to photograph, low cog and easy to store. Boden, Hanna Anderson, the north face and Zara are my best sellers

The french translation as far as I can tell is - my cabbage (term of endearment?), my treasure, my sweetie. That Natori item can be closed easily with a snap. Its an easy fix for someone who can do a bit of hand sewing. It is beautiful.
@meliemelo407 Жыл бұрын
Native French speaker here: “Mon chou” is a term of endearment but the literal translation is indeed “my cabbage” lol! But it means “my sweetheart” or “my darling”. The rest is correct. Hope that helps!

storage room is an issue for a lot of people selling stuff. ... so most resellers I think with limited staorage don ot go for 15 , 25 dollars sales ... theyw ould rather use that limited space to find something theyc ould sell for a lot higer. Nice to spend time with your family while doing reselling .. good idea wish I had known about this reselling when my dad was staying with me

laughing about the dog chewing the bone...I dont, and wont, do haul videos...we have two french bull dogs , they allow us to live here...if you have never heard the assortment of noises the breed makes...you havnt laughed enough...and when the windows and doors are open there are 27 chickens and 19 ducks that like to make sure we know they are here. It would drive listeners crazy (between my age and an ability to ignore I dont hear it most of the time...husband just turns his hearing aids off and wala...hears nothing).. PS Tea collection was one of my favorites to wear on my granddaughters when they were young enough to like what Nana and Papa bought them

Hi Lori! I'm just curious how you used the Hulkin bag at the bins. Did you shop with it instead of using their carriage? And did you have to pay for the weight of it on the way out? I would love to try one of these for my St Vincent's 99 cent hauls. I think they enjoy watching me try to carry a giant garbage bag full of clothes that is bigger than me to my car parked on the street. Shopping shouldn't hurt! 😜 Happy Haulidays!!

I never look at sweaters at the thrift they are always pilled, frayed, mis shaped, shrunk, ... I do not even look at sweaters anymore or shorts not enough return on shorts specially at what thrifts charge

Our Goodwill bins stopped pricing heavier items (like the one the other lady had) by weight if it weighs over 5 lbs they now only charge up to 5 lbs. ❤ EDIT- it’s my understanding that customers were passing heavier items due to them costing way more by weight (such as that wooden storage unit).

Nice haul. I want to point out the word treading is a verb that means walking. When you're talking about the surface on the bottom of a shoe it's just tread, not treading. I don't know why people think they have to add ing to the end of words like calling shelves shelving or floors flooring. Why?
