Lorn was my first step out of my strictly old school techno/rock music. That's all I ever listened to. I stumbled upon his song, "ghossts", if I spelt that right and it absolutely blew my freaking mind. It almost immediately led me to all kinds of genres of music I never even knew was out there. Even stuff completely unrelated to this genre. What it did was made me realize I was missing out on so much and it drove me to search for everything.

@@qpTheDarknessqp Hz is an abbreviation for Hertz, which is a measure of soundwave frequency per second. For example, a soundwave of 40 Hertz completes 40 wavelengths per second. All sound is vibrations, or "vibes", in the sense that waves oscillate up and down, producing a vibrating pattern among the atoms they affect as they travel.

This song reminds me of being home in Detroit for some reason. Growing up there, hearing the old schools talk about what it was like long ago, in contrast to the city I lived in. They talked about the car plants from when they were alive, while my friends and I were going out at night to dance in their boneyards. It also reminds me of how all of the things I associate with my childhood :parents, cars i saw, stores, buildings, etc - they're all gone, torn down, dead, abandoned. Even the bones we used to go out and dance under, theyre all gone too.

Pawo is the perfect ending track. When I listen to it, I would always imagine a person walking down empty streets on a dark cold night and then coming home and switching on the lights, breathing out with relief. And this would put a nice stop at the end of the album. It is very interesting to see a different take on visuals. And the visuals seem to tie with the Acid Rain video. The car in the beginning, that touches it's "ghost" is the same one, that falls down the chasm of darkness. And it also looks like the car that was crashed in Acid Rain. This is a dream of that car crash, an abstract memory of it. I don't know if the videos were supposed to be connected, but they are in my head now.
