For those wondering how he is playing so fast, he is using a technique called heel toe. Basically he is playing two hits with each leg. Its a technique that is difficult to have that much control. Incredible

@SuicidalGrind2 жыл бұрын
Some parts were a little sloppy like the triplet kicks that accent the guitar chugging after the double kicks, but that's like super nitpicky. On a real note, this is definitely a showcase that he can actually play his parts. His kicks when he actually is doing the double kicks are probably the cleanest thing about his drumming it's genuinely insane.

Dont forget he had a herniated disc in his back he is now fixing it after the tour
@raviolijesus61812 жыл бұрын
He uses drum triggers…so no matter how hard he’s kicking it’ll play a note when the beater connects to the drum head no matter how much power you give it and it’ll sound the exact same on both sides. Now, this type of thing is very common for death metal drummers to use..especially playing live. Not to knock him cause he’s obviously still tight as fuck and clean with that speed.

This band focuses more on the extremity than creativity. (They still have creative elements in their sound). I just wouldn’t be looking at the drums to find that. Gotta give him credit tho, the technique is off the charts.
@tavit97992 жыл бұрын
Agree but they prob. want that sound. It’s war music, so the dynamism techniques used in other genres prob. may make it less aggressive. They’re going for full machine guns at all times. But understandable if that’s not your thing.
@endowednigerian2 жыл бұрын
@@tavit9799 i get what u say, the thing is i love death metal and black metal drumming. but if you listen to someone like nils dominator fjellstrom it sounds way more interesting even though its machine gun rapidfire stuff. this guy just does the same things over and over and despite him being really good and precise it just sounds boring as fuck like too robotic. im not a deathcore fan at all but even within the genre theres really cool drummers like jesse beahler and evgeny, etc idk i feel exactly the same when i hear francesco paoli for example, its amazing what he can do and he is a big inspiration to many drummers but could only pull just super fast and that was it. its just super cool to hear someone that can play that fast and keep it interesting, not just one dynamic the whole time
