Wow Lorrie this is exceptional. I have been watching your videos out of order but am so enjoying each and every one. I love the painting method you used on the pockets. The embossing added just the right touch. Your ephemera and doodling top off the piece beautifully. I just finished the suspended heart and really had fun. Hey Gurl, I L O V E these pocket pages and am currently working on some for myself, thanks to your encouragement! The only down side is all the drying time in between the layers! Guess we know why you have so many books of your own in the works. What a grand way to spend the day! Thanks!

Love it as always! I am kicking myself, I had embossing powder and pad about 20 years ago and I just got rid of them a few years back because I never used them. Gah! Now you make me want to run out and buy more. Love the watercolor/ink technique, those pages are gorgeous. I think my favorite was the last 2 you did with the blue and ochre but they were all pretty. Where do you find your ephemera pages with the faces? It's a certain style that I keep seeing in all your pages and wonder if it's out of a specific book or magazine. I haven't attempted any pockets yet but I think this one is inspiring me to do some!

i am so far behind in responding to comments jai....my apologies....you know when you separate a napkin how there is the fun part and then the plain white part? i think i put the plain white part over this page to create that dreamy look....so with the napkins it is modpodge, napkin, modpodge....does that make sense jai? i hope so! go create, go play, go have fun jai!!!

Do you please have video on how to make portraits stencils? I have difficulty in cutting the paper using x actor knife for minutes details of face, do I have to use heat cutter?

When do you use mod podge vs. matte gel medium?

i prefer modpodge and the way it interacts with paper....if you have gel medium and love it? use it! yay....we are a 'use what you have ' kind of village here! lol...i have better success with the modpodge...and i am here for inspiration only, so......go create, go play, go have fun!!!!
