This is not good job to earn isk on gas. You can make MUCH MUCH MORE Isk on gas in hi sec. I would not say how couse it is my job and I don't want price for as to pick down.

Hi Loru, some tips regarding the fit here. Always from a killer perspective. First of all, I wouldn't care about being scanned down by combat probes. If you dscan correctly, you'll see them and warp off way before they are able to jump on you. So, I would use shield extenders to tank the first volley of rats, just in case you warp in a site where NPCs have already spawned. Rigs should be tank-focused too. You also shouldn't care if they scan the gas site, because you should be at the center of the gas could and not at 0, at the site beacon. If enemies warp to the site, they are gonna be decloaked and you have plenty of time to warp away. I don't recommend staying at the edge of the cloud. One day, I made a ping outside the gas cloud, warped cloaked there, and literally burnt cloaked for 20 minutes towards the target huffing on the edge of the cloud. I basically decloaked at 0 and killed the target. In the lower slot, I would put a warp core stabilizer instead. It gives you a +4 total warp resistance. Meaning enemies need to have 5 points to pin you down (or a bubbler, but bubblers are not cloacky, so you can see them on your dscan). Most killers like me go around with caldari navy scram which gives you +3 or 2 scrams which give you +4. Still not enough for a venture with core stabilizer. USE CODE 'loru' Molotovk1

@@smokinggun8418 you get decloaked only if you are closer than 2000m to the gas cloud. You don't get decloaked by a beacon (usually), since you should land further than 2000m if you warp to it. Generally, if there is an uncloaked object or element closer than 2000m from your ship, you get decloaked. However, if you are cloaked and another cloaked ship warps to you and gets closer than 2000m, you don't get decloaked (because both objects are cloaked).

Okay... who buys all that gas from you? Also, how much do you pay to have all that hauled up to High sec? I know you don't haul all that back up to High all by yourself in a Venture as an Alpha. You have to be paying an Omega corp for that part which cuts into your profits.

1. It can be sold immediately at a station to probs a npc or people with requests to buy but it isn't recommended since it is wayy lower price then the market price but if ur new to it u can since u probably require money on ur first or 2-3 visits of the gas sites

These bubble probes killed this method for me. Just a few problems about gas huffering: 1. it took me sometimes HOURS to find a gas spot ( and even longer to find a good & profitable ) 2. if you accidentally jump into the wrong one you get instantly podded by the sentry guns 3. you’re sitting in a weakly venture, even if you made it to fully fill your cargo, you need to bring that stuff safe out😂 4. I been bubbled almost 30 times now, it just heavy frustration when huffering nearly an hour of good mykoserocin and then getting podded while trying to get out of a whormehole or ganked by an EMP smart bomb. As an alpha it became more difficult to EFFICENTLY farm ISK. In the past it made good profit. Love your content. Keep it up❤

Great video as always. I've been gas harvesting for a while and it's one of my favorite, and most profitable, activities to do in Eve Online. I never thought about using the Sensor Boosters; that's an interesting idea. I've graduated to a Prospect at this point, but would have definitely liked to had this fit when I was using a Venture.

How confident are we that Instrumental and Vital can be speed tanked? I do know personally that in Bountifuls, it only takes one mistake to lose a MWD Prospect in there, such as having to lower speed to the much smaller cloud's radius to stay within 1500m and lowering it by the tiniest amount too much - and those other 2 sites can put out much more DPS. Also, I'm almost certain that Ordinary sites cannot be speed tanked due to the sentries (which are *always* there from site spawn). Basically, I've been erring on the side of caution: speed-tanking the other 5 fullerene sites, clearing rats/sentries from Ordinary & Bountiful with a Gila before huffing, and leaving Instrumental and Vital alone (in terms of ISK per hour, those 2 have the least value anyway; it's just that they have a lot more *overall value* , but they spawn in places that are often highly-inhabited and you're not likely to get to huff for 12 hours straight on one site anyway).

LATE UPDATE: The big cloud in both Vast and Bountiful are tankable. Instrumental big cloud is tankable, but in my experience, it requires micromanagement. I setup several perches along the perimeter of the large cloud while orbiting that I had to use seemingly every 10-15 minutes to jump across the cloud in order to prevent sudden onset of death after the rats intercepted me (to be fair, there have been 2 or 3 characters on these clouds every time, pulling the rats toward a particular area of the perimeter and generally keeping them there due to the frequency of somebody passing through that vicinity. The small instrumental cloud is NOT tankable: ideally you need to be 125km or more from the battleships to take minimal damage; once you're within 75km, you're in big trouble. And as far as the vital core goes, it has frigates that go 3km/s, so I'm quite confident this isn't doable unless you have boosters, special implants, system effects affecting velocity and/or agility, etc.

You need to haul to trade hubs like Jita. Sometimes you can sell locally if there's a buyer but look up the item on a market website and it'll tell you which system sells it for the most isk.

Yes however I wouldn't bother with the sensor boosters, better to fit a shield extender and EM hardener to help tank a volley from the rats if needed. My argument for this is if you are d-scanning you will know someone is looking for you long before they can pinpoint you so making it harder to scan you down realistically isn't going to help you.

I like your content, but this one is misleading. 1, You will get rat spawn on WH gas sites. Those rats will one shot you from 100+km if you are within aggro range. 2, You can find gas sites in HS/LS/NS too. The payout is better sometimes, and you will not get rat spawns. 3, You don't need probe protection at all. You will be in a scannable site, so if anyone want to catch you, they just scan the site, then use DS to find you. Some shield, and a warp core stab is your best friend while gas huffing. With the warp core stab you have +4 warp core strength. So for an alpha is much safer to huff gas in LS/HS (there is a chance you will get damage huffing gas in NULL). Or when you are in a WH site, you have to warp off when the rats spawn, or move away 150km from the warp in. If I'm right, that's the aggro range.

*BULLSHIT!* Sorry bub, but this one gets a thumbs down without even watching the whole thing. Gas huffing? Let's see.... I tried that miserable get-ISK-Fast trick. -39mil for the skill injector (keep in mind, that brought me down to about 9 mil balance), the damned basic scoops were another 5.197mil - each, to refit the Venture to make Big ISK! Hours and Hours invested simply trying to _find_ a gas cloud. Two lost ships due to Null space mishaps travelling to/from where I finally found a gas site, including my Salvager turned gas gatherer. This was before I bit the bullet to put two scoops on the Venture; Jump Cat, the Salvager only had one, -5.1 mil, down the drain. By the time I finally got past the Gate sitters and back to the system with the wormhole... it was gone. More fruitless scanning. Total investment: 16-20 hours of scanning down time. To be fair, there was a +7 mil gain for one Relic site along the way, and a mil or two more from having met daily scanning goals. ~ 38 mil ISK in lost ships ~ 18 mil ISK in ship upgrades, collecting dust, but no gas, and no ISK ~ 39 mil ISK Skill injector for Gas harvesting So, 95 million ISK for no return? After days of scanning and playing? That's not making "100 ISK/hr!"

Maybe it works *great* in some regions of space, or did a few years ago?? But in Delve and further down in Nullsec, it _just doesn't._ So my feedback, and warning to new players right now, is that it is an expensive waste of time. I did move to another area, and try some more. Then I got ganked coming out of the wormhole. I had spent the whole night, gone two wormholes deep. I only surfaced because I was within half an hour of server shutdown. o7 to the guys with the patience to wait for me to come out I suppose. Goodbye VG Cloud Ship.
