Hi Nick, was just looking at a few of your videos as I just bought a Timex marlin chronograph a few days ago and then I noticed your videos on the accurist watches, my girl friend bought me a quartz accurist digital watch back in 1977, we emigrated to Australia in 1979 and wore the watch up until about 1984 and it lay unused until 3 weeks ago when I eventually found it. Luckily I’d had taken the batteries out(takes 2 batts) my wife gave it to a jeweller friend who put new batteries in and it fired up, I couldn’t believe it, I look at it and remember being given it and wonder where the past 47 years have gone but me and it are still here and working. Sorry for a short reply, I was literally driving home after Christmas, That's a great back story regarding your watch, as you may have seen, my Seiko story, I like you had left the watch for over 30 years and recently got a battery put in it, it fired up the same, You're right where does time go, Happy new year and thanks again for your kind message Nick
