Hey Rudy i just found a foil black lotus in my grandmas old shoe box! In my grandmas old house there was this wall that seemed somewhat hallow, so we grabbed a book of the shelf and the wall slid open to reveal a hidden passage way! We followed the path of lit torches down the stairs that had been revealed into an old, damp basement. Out of the corner of my eye there was a glistening box wrapped in fine linen and a heavenly light shon down as if to say 'This is your destiny'. So i opened the box and there it was! A foil, lenticular, miscut, diamond encrusted bordered black lotus with an off color to make it seem like a multicoloured lotus. It was even signed by Richard Garfields grandfather on his deathbed and was sent to the Vatican to be blessed by the old pope, and blessed it was. So im selling it PSA 11 for $20, you up for it Rudy?

In German, Lorwyn is the only Set, where "Planeswalker" was translated into german. "Weltenwanderer" is such an awesome term. Very sad they got rid of that.

Planeswalker used to be translated in all available languages for MTG, in Italian it’s Viandante (meaning Wayfarer)

Don't forget to mention Rudy that Lorwyn block, is the one in magic history to have 4 sets Lorwyn, Morningtide, Eventide, and Shadowmoor. The best Block of all Magic the Gathering. It let the imagination run on full. The art brought everything to life. Truly the hightlight of Magic. God I miss those days. Best decks. Best block. Thank you for bring me too a great time and great memories with friends who are no longer here. Thanks.

Lorwyn has such a distinct visual vibe but I think the real attraction is the extremely nice foiling. Its the same look as Base/Fossil Pokemon foils I collected as a little kid

Rudy, remember, some of these old sets were fantastic for drafting, and Lorwyn is no exception. There are some people willing to pay big money to draft these sets which is probably why Lorwyn is so expensive relative to other sets from that era.

I took about a 12 year break from mtg, and came back during Return to Ravnica block. When I started going through all the sets that I missed out on, Lorewyn block struck me as the one I would've wanted to actually play when it was current the most. WotC really hit it out of the park in terms of art and flavor, not to mention the fairly tale land gone to hell theme is just amazing. It also didn't help that the current set of when I came back was Dragon's Maze...so there's that too.

Lorwyn pre-release in London. I pulled a Liliana and a foil Chandra in my packs. Played a black green deck and lost all my games. I was new to magic, but had a great time. Sold my foil Chandra to one of the card stalls for £20 which covered my entry for the event. Fond memories. The art and the flavour was awesome.

Rudy. We need to press WoTC to release sealed box sets like they used to do very long ago. It would eliminate 600 and 700 dollar box prices imho. People will gladly give an MSRP on a complete boxed set rather than buy a box that has little to offer for the price we pay.

Rare is behind the token/instruction card because this set introduced planeswalkers, and they wanted to make sure you knew how to use them. So the pw instruction card is what you see first.

Green Treefolk and red Elementals all day. 17:48...one of my favorite cards, all time. Dropping Chaser with Soulstoke was SO much fun. Awesome stuff.
