The gentleman in the brown coat who helped you find coffee is a great guide to all things Algodones. His name is Tony. He speaks good English and can always help you find what you’re looking for. Great video 👍🏼

I just got back. Went for "All on 4" at the SANI Dental Group. Excellent experience, could not be more pleased with the outcome and the cost that was, quite simply, impossible in the USA. In Los Algodones it was less than a third of the USA and within my meager savings and frankly the dental offices there are more impressive than any I'd experienced in the USA. I will return in six months to finalize. While "Teeth in a Day" is a real thing, it is far smarter to do temporary teeth on your implants and allow the full healing time before they make the final parts.

You had full mouth All on 4’s? I was just looking into this. So you feel they did a good job and you are pleased? The price in USA is insane!

I just got back , and had 8 crowns , and one implant . I'm going back soon to get a few more of my old crowns replaced. Pretty cool little town.

Sani needs a remodel, not anywhere as nice as the US offices. Couches are gross and the rooms are like beat up hotel rooms. The painter was probably drinking. We liked our dentist who spoke very little english but ultimately wont be back. Wanted to be paid all upfront, paid them half to start and hassled for the rest of the money by the cashier Eddie in a tiny back room before the implants were in. Felt a little like the teeth were going to be held hostage after hours of delays we walked out of there at 5:30 in the afternoon with work we were mostly happy with. Lots of happy looking people but it didnt look or feel solid and nice like the website portrays and the payment experience left a lot to be desired. Theyll tell you to call for a shuttle but we lost cell service at the border and couldnt call. When they say three days for work, two of them will be spent waiting in their office for hours so bring your camping gear. Including travel costs and not adding mileage on the car ours was about half what the US quote was.

In Mexico High Fructose Corn Syrup is illegal. So, the Coke tastes better because they use real cane sugar! OMG Those tacos looked sooooo good!!

Those fish tacos looked amazing and worth checking out! But wow, talk about jacked up prices at the other restaurant. I can get cheaper authentic at home in Texas.

This was a great video. My wife used to have at least a half a dozen bottles of vanilla from Mexico that her mother would bring back a couple of bottles every year.

I noticed you all looked cold, we will be there in March 22nd nd I am trying to figureout what type of clothes to bring. LOL
@Lady_Ferns10 ай бұрын
Lol this was filmed in the middle of December. We personally weren't cold, but the people we went with were. So a lot depends on what your comfort in certain temperatures are. We also went really early in the morning to avoid the lines coming back across the border. Best option is layers, take off and/or add when you need.

Thanks for the video! Al Godones was my Christmas shopping destination as well as having dental work done (why are US Dentists so slow and so expensive?) until COVID. You're absolutely right in saying bottled Coke tastes so much better there.

True fact: some people say it’s about the sweetener. Coke is sweetened with cane sugar in MX, besides in the US it’s corn syrup from yellow corn. 10:01

great video & can you give us some of the prices? Ok, I admit it I'm most interested in the $ of the fish tacos !!!!
@Lady_Ferns10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. The prices I believe are listed on the food cart. Near the top. Unless I zoomed in too much during editing. I'll double check
@Lady_Ferns10 ай бұрын
@rehabrabbi3383 from what I can make out on the sign it was $2.50 US for 1. (Possibly $2.00 a little hard to make out) . Lupitas was cheaper and way better than fish tacos we had at the sit down restaurants in town.

Great walk thru , probably the best I've seen on YT so far. What were the border times like getting back to the US parking lot. I only had two people in front of me coming back in May.
@Lady_Ferns7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. We went in mid December and left before noon. No wait times. I have heard after lunch time line ups are worse. And peak season Jan/feb the line ups can be hours long.

Might be a bit of a silly question but im flying to Yuma soon , im going to take a shuttle to The dentist stay a couple days and than walk back across. Once across does uber pick up there ? 😅
@Lady_Ferns9 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting. Sorry I am not to sure if Uber goes to the border. Maybe see if you can even enter those pick up points and destinations into the app? Or maybe someone watching this video could chime in if they know. We drove and parked in the parking lot just before the border. Best of luck with your appointment.

You too have passport to cross over
@Lady_Ferns11 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes both used our passports to cross the border. We find it the easiest and least hassle when crossing. Some will say you don't need ID to get into Mexico, however you still need it to come back into the USA. I'll post another video soon more about that

I like your Channel And Lord knows, I love Adventure And Lord also knows, I am not a female Traveler. What I am saying is that if I had to take a guess, I would be about 10 times more comfortable visiting Canada than Mexico. Now then, I know a lot of people just jump across the border and have a fun day trip. What I am saying is that the value of your life diminishes greatly when you cross that border. There is simply no amount of monetary savings or jocularity that is worth that kind of trade off...to me. It's kind of like skydiving... If you knew that your parachute had a three times likelier event of failure, would you still jump there? I suppose that depends.
