I ride my electric scooter from Downtown Los Angeles to Echo Park. There was a lot of activity in the Downtown Area, and it quickly became much quieter once I got onto Temple Street.

Just move here. It's impossible to see all the fun in LA in a month, it takes years. I love it. Never try the same restaurant more than once unless you like it. Just so many choices, unbelievable.. I love it here.

This is spot on. LA is immense. You can never see it all. It's because there's so much to do. You have to be an explorer in Los Angeles. What interests you? Do research. Nobody is going to regurgitate it for you and it's not going to fall in your lap! LA is not for the lazy.

El Pollo Loco has amazing marinated grill chicken & an abundance of complimentary condiments where other restaurants would charge for it! Not many locations in the northern east coast...in Connecticut Foxwood casino the last i ate at.

Scooter can be very dangerous since roads are really fucked up in LA. I ride ebike that has much bigger wheel almost like motorcycle but I still feel very unsafe riding around LA. Imagine if you hit little pothole or bump with those little wheeled scooter.

For a “Bronx” like vibe come see beautiful MacArthur Park/Westlake, and visit langers delicatessen on Alvarado/7th, a perfect video, you can pass through 2 amazing immigrant neighborhoods (Pico-Union, Westlake/MacArthur Park) this is the heart of LA’s Central American community, and the Greeks before them. Very beautiful neighborhoods!

Some streets to give you a feel of the area would be Union Avenue going north from Washington to 6th Street, and Alvarado Street going north from Pico Boulevard up to 6th Street, and 6th Street going west out of downtown and toward Vermont Avenue. But there are many blocks to explore within the neighborhoods, and you will see just how much can change within a few blocks. Pico-Union is characterized by old two-story homes that have been converted to apartments, whereas Westlake is more characterized by mid-rise apartment buildings. They have each have a different vibe, but you can see which one you like more.

DTLA is so grimy and run down looking. Sucks the only part of the city where you can live comfortably without a car is like that. It's actually about the size of a mid-sized city's downtown area, nowhere near as big as Manhattan but not that small either. I think they made a huge mistake building it so far inland, which negatively affected the urban design / planning for the rest of the county. It should have been built closer to the beach like San Diego's downtown, which looks so much better in comparison, but supposedly they got spooked about potential pirates.

Take pics for Instagram, and drive 35 Miles back your house and then turn in Netflix
