I hope someone can give this guy a job, he seems like he deserves a chance and genuinely wants to work. I spent a year homeless and on my own, many years back, it sucks. A lot of people lose their humanity while trying to survive and it's disturbing to see, but this guy has hope and really deserves the chance to make his life better.

Even after 3 years he's still holding on. Thing is, going from homelessness to stable housing doesn't happen overnight. It take time to save for moving costs, and hopefully a rainy day should something happen right after you move in. The system doesn't usually give you that chance to catch your breath before they begin to suck you dry.

It's next to impossible to carry a pistol in Los Angeles. The cops sweep homeless neighborhoods and if they see him packing he can either get himself shot or arrested. He probably has a few friends that watch each other's back. He seems like a reliable man.

@Soldagg He did state that he has held odd jobs here and there and given the area it's probably hard for businesses to justify staying around the area. As for using drugs, his tent is far too well maintained for that to be the case, most drug addicts would not care about the condition of where they live since the drug becomes the most important part of their life. Sure, maybe he has committed crimes and maybe that's why he moved from Arizona (I think he said?) to where he is now in hopes that he'll have more luck with getting a job in the new location. I have no reason, based on this video and the condition of his tent to doubt his story.

@Soldagg That may be so but he was willing to move states to me shows he wants to try and leave whatever may have happned in the previous state in the past. I've been down that road before and moved states to get away from people that were a bad influence on me and i was lucky i got out before i got a conviction recorded against me which honestly, was very close given i was already granted a two week good behavior for crimes.

Most people are one decision or an unfortunate circumstance away from being homeless. God bless and keep them. Sometimes you have no control of the hand life deals you. Everyone has a story 🙏🏽

nah getting homeless would take me way more stupid decisions than just one... and i can do enough to make sure even the most unlucky circumstances wont make me homeless. you say it too easy.

Bijlowdinho 187 that maybe true for you, but she said “most” people. Most people work average jobs and live paycheck to paycheck. Many people are 1 check away from being homeless.

@@lovingme1st973 then you'll be glad to know i never will because i know how to become more wealthy and i wasnt raised to stay poor. its a mentality. im paying off my mortgage this year and im in my twenties. and since we dont have natural disasters in the Netherlands that destroy homes.... 😚

Went to LA last week & saw this with my own eyes. Self consciously u think DAM THIS CANT BE TRUE but in reality it’s real. Never saw that many homeless people in my life. It’s so much mental illness going on out there. My heart goes out to all of em. May GOD bless & keep them🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

this fine Man needs to come to the Detroit area. There is no workforce here, everyone on welfare. even a job at Target or Wallmart pays 16-18 an hour and nobody will even apply. This Man will be successful here as he climbs the latter, manager, owner, whatever he wants he can achieve. Thank you for posting this. very seldom do i see anything so positive. I recently saw on German in Venice that LA has until October to find actual housing for people on skid row.. I sincerely hope it’s true, that will give this guy a real chance to start his life again... blessings to him💜💜💜💜

Could, go to the bank. Save it, as long as possible with 0 overhead cost. Maybe get a camper, etc. Go to an area with lower cost of living, and buy a house or pay enough down so that the mortgage is cheaper than renting. Better than nothing, and might be able to do it in 5 years or less.
