Congratulations to Argentina. Hope Fiji will prepare for a bounce back in the Olympic. NZ and Argentina also had their moments where they were not performing well. Yes, Fiji has really gotten worse this season but are they actually Worse????. I mean, this current Fiji Team still managed to be in the Top 4 standings. This same Team out of the previous Teams, have been playing with the worst salary a rugby player has to be receiving. Secondly, this new Training Coach have not trained them in the Sigatoka Sand Dunes which is mandatory for every local Teams here in Fiji. And Yet they managed to book a spot for the next Olympic. Here In Fiji, every Local 7s Competition that the National Fiji team competes in, always Win and with huge margins but this Season National Fiji 7s Team lost to 2 local clubs here in Fiji. IMO, with the right Trainer, Fiji Team will run through NZ and Argentina just like they used to.

Modern 7s is structured and played on execution and forcing errors.. Fiji is the only team that plays offloads and support play and its falling a bit short.. they need to adopt structure and use their offloads and hot stepping when gaps appear... structure is king in 7s now. But Fiji can turn on the magic when it comes to world cup or Olympics.. they are not that hungry when it comes to series.
