this was an editing challenge where I record something and edit it in 2 hours, actually took me under 3 hours overall but about 2 hours in editing. Obviously not really polished but oh well.

True I'm rated 700 and I'm sitting here screaming no every time either of them do anything lol. The real funny thing is my plan of attack would still be objectively bad

Just some tips: -In the beginning try to develop all your main pieces and only move them once. -Try to avoid getting double pawns -Try to avoid putting your knight on the side of the board. -Dont forget to castle to easily get the rooks in the game. -Generally speaking a bishop is worth a bit more than a knight. -If opponent's queen comes out early, try to develop while attacking it. -Attack unprotected pawns and pieces to gain a tempo. Those should help quite alot in the beginning. Good luck.

Simplest tips is castle quickly and move pawns into center. Ignore his outer pawn pushes usually lol. They’re not doing much 2000 here. This was fun lol

I'm only 20 days into my personal chess journey, learn an opening. Black has a great opening called the caro-kahn. In its simplest form its a great set up with many good middle and end game set ups. Chess at our level is almost explicitly memorization of the main line. Once you start to get above a certain level you'll flatline on your rating climb THEN you need to start looking at tactics, finding the best moves for each position etc. grand masters know the best moves for the opponents as well, hikaru claims he can see 10 different games of chess at a time in his mind. Hes constantly calculating "if i move here, he can do this, this or this, if knight to here he has this this this and this" and so on. Us adult learners don't need to focus on that. Pick up a few cheese openings like the scholars mate for white, but know what to transition in if your opponent knows how to counter it. Thats the ONLY thing you need to worry about at this stage. Openings and then learn about converting the advantages you gain during the opening.

E4, e5, if Qh5 happens, just play kc6 and you are absolutely protected. After all of these you need to harass enemies queen as much as possible and try to develop as many pieces as possible.

Hey guys, love all the views and subs this is getting but just to let y'all know that as my channel name implies, this is just a dumping ground where I upload whatever I want. Usually use this channel as some way to get my thoughts out there or to scratch some sort of """"creative""""" itch with this video being one of them. The next video could be something similar or the most braindead thing you could see (like the previous one) In short, what I want to say is, don't expect any good content from this channel especially chess. If you guys are into gaming then check out my youtube channel @kareidoyt or my twitch @kareido1

If you want to continue (you dont really have to) you should probably watch youtube tutorials for help but you can also learn for yourself BUT im guessing you already know the main rules (ex. En passant, castling etc) but if you dont you should
