Very nice, I just got mine and opened it today. The only difference in my unboxing is that my body was still completely covered in the protective plastic wrap. Got on a Black Friday deal for $249.

If you do another one....are you going to keep it stock.....I followed your build...til you went to the new chassis and motor/esc combo......love the content👍

@@paulpadilla5288 I greatly appreciate it! Yeah our local club started a box stock class and I may run that. That way I can continue to do various RC related things without going all in to one thing.

Tires will definetely rub. Pretty much have to go belted. I feel the shocks should be aluminum. They just seem smoother. Threaded is nice, but not against spacers. I've tried the newest 22 5.0 buggy shocks on an old Losi XXXSCT converted for drag, and they stay consistent for a long time.

Justin Wright thank you for the heads-up and additional info. I greatly appreciate it. I'll add some tape in the body before tomorrow, if I can find some lol. But I'll be switching over to Reactions after tomorrow as well anyway. Just want to get some runs as is before making changes.

I have this car, I've only had the chance to take it to one race so like you I'm still figuring things out with it. I did raise the body up along with taping the inside because of tire rub, if you only tape it and don't raise it the tire rub will slow it down and make the body vibrate real bad. You have to raise it evenly, if you only raise the back it pushes the front under part of the body in towards the front tire and the fronts do balloon slightly so they will rub in turn slowing you down. Make sure you turn your steering ratio down when making a pass, no need to have full steering it'll overcorrect and dart off to the side. My experience with the brakes has not been as bad as others, with mine I can numerously tap it to slow it down, if I try to just apply it with out tapping it will lock up and spin out. My reverse has to be tapped twice to engage reverse from an idol position. Left rear suspension will need to be stiffer then the right or it veers to the left on take off. This is my experience with the car after about 10 runs down the track straight out of the box... I am running the Spektrum 2s 5000mah 7.4V 100C Smart lipo in it

Thats what I've heard, some parts are still hard to get. Hopefully that issue will be resolved soon. Time will tell I suppose.

Like #1 👍🏾💯 nice pickup and unboxing… Don’t forget to tape the wheel wells , body rub while burnouts will eat the paint if you don’t!

The shocks do not hold up to well i use gpm shocks also grab either a differential rebuild kit or a new diff in handy with new driveshafts sitting for you the diff cups come apart and the shafts snap. those tires are very soft and they do balloon i love the platform i have 3 of them with different setups ones stock one has a maclan drk system and my fastest one is the mamba monster x 8s one with a 3t motor

Raise the body especially the rear and add shoogoo and drywall tap so you dont rub off the paint even in thier breakout losi video their factory rc cars missing paint on the rear fenders

Oh yeah, I messed that up LOL. Funny story is I was warned about that ahead of time as well. I packed all my RC gear and forgot to pack some tape and or vinyl to put inside the body. I was like, well too late, I'm here now and I'm going to run it. New body is on it now with that update video coming soon. I'm going to repair the Camaro body and keep it as a display body.
