im still on my Losi XXX-SCT from a decade ago :D ... i only started racing with it last year (2022)... it has capability and adjustability beyond that of my current skill level... so i can get more out of it. im being stubborn and racing with it for as many seasons as i can before im out of parts (which the guy who sold it to me... still has tones of for now)

Great video. I run 2wd buggy. RB7. Love it. 2wd off road is a great way to dial in your throttle control, you’ll find yourself running smoother , if you run other classes.

I race a pro kart fitted with hand controls but it's getting harder to keep going which is why I'm now finding myself drawn towards RC stuff. I had a couple when I were a lad and dug the last one out of the garage about 8 months ago. Had heck of a time getting my hands on some crystals. I think it's probably easier to buy unicorn feathers! But your vids have been keeping me in bed were I'm supposed to be and I'm developing a real interest in the new battery stuff. When I was into this stuff it was either nitro or slow!

That tenacity 2wd is a pretty good rtr platform. The tlr 22 sct 3.0 2wd kit is still probably the best race truck you can buy. I love mine, better than associated IMO. I own a tenacity tt pro also. Nothing else compares to it in its class. I’ve also owned and raced the losi roller 10 scte and the tlr 22 scte 3.0 both 4wd. I personally think the spektrum radio that comes with the tenacity is junk though. It just feels cheap. My tt pro is all stock except for the radio and servo. Those had to go, just the racer in me. The tt pro can be track ready with just some tires and shock tuning. Good vid

Im ADD AF so for a YT vid to keep my attention for more than 1min is rare let alone 8(ish) anyways bought a Traxxas Rustler 2wd brushed. Do you mean it wants to “oversteer”? Oversteer is like when you’re trying to do a drift. It’s hard to believe that a rear wheel drive vehicle would have understeer problems. Understeer usually happens when it enters a corner rather than exits. Also, love the video! Keep it up!!

Yes. I misspoke. The truck with under steer around corners, but if you touch the brake, the back will start to come out. If you nail the throttle, it will oversteer. A perfect balance of steering and throttle will make it three wheel drift.

I have the Losi tt pro love it and just bought a slash 2wd with a vxl esc and castle motor traxxas stainless axels and just bought everything I need for an LCG and even gtr shocks and tqi radio and receiver. Whe you said it’s just not competitive 😭😭😭

Super torn on my next rig. Dang stock is out on so much stuff. I like that you often get the brushed stuff and upgrade later too. 22s looks like it might be discontinued, which sucks. Now it's down to outlaw rampage, slash raptor fox, tormentor 2wd...for now.

I hate I spent money on the brushed version. I added so many upgrades to make it actually Race worthy. Spent $169 on the magnaflow truck, added over $250 in parts. Now mine truly is a beast!

As an rc racer, I'd suggest not using the avc and learning throttle control and proper slipper settings to help with wheel spin. Also get some jconcepts carvers for the front, after using them you won't want anything else for front tires. I run a tlr 22sct 3.0 and love the truck. Stock. I haven’t adjusted them. I think it’s a a thick spacer on the back and two thin spacers on the front.

Sorry dude! I took video of it, but the video was long enough as it was. The batter is bottom loading, and it comes with different size foams to fit different sizes. I ran 4 Zee 5200 mah 2S hard pack through it and they fit perfectly.

Depends. If you plan on taking it to a track and being competitive, put the system in it that will allow you to complete in a class you think you can enjoy. If you’re just going to bash it, put the best thing in there that you can afford.

Turn the avc off. No one races with it and some places its illegal. It actually hurts you more then helps u. If you loop out coming out of the turn on power u can play around with different wheel off sets in the rear. I race associated but I have Traxxas losi and ae offset wheels. The wider the wheel base the less it wants to turn In. I was looping out on exit and I widened my rear offset a little and it numbed the turning on exit so I can smash the throttle coming out. The parachute effect your body is doing is a problem for all sc trucks. What I do is drill some 1/4 inch holes along the bottom of the front wind shield close to the hood and do the same on the back. It will let air flow threw the body and not get trapped in there causing it to get air. Great video man. Hope this helps if you didn't already know hahaha.

yeah man thats a sweet stadium tuck. If you race on a track you should always use 2wd cars 4wd is really cheating and way to easy but thats my me. I have the Traxxas VXL 2wd fox body love it but yeah needs the LCG chassie for sure. its very fast with the TSM goes straight as a arrow on full power.
