You wanna spray some wd40 on it and let it sit for a few hours thats how I got mine off I recommend using mip tools makes a big difference

Damn that truck is fast with the 18 tooth. Sorry it caused the rear diff to explode. I just bought a dbxl e 2.0 last week and was considering doing this to mine but I think ill wait and enjoy it stock for awhile.

Yeah when I got my db last year I ran it with the stock gear for the first 2 months then I put the 18t on when you do change it out its a BIG difference thanks for watching

So I got the 18 tooth pinion couple days ago. Also bought and installed xlx2 1100kv combo a week ago. My God the 18 tooth with that combo is scary fast. I had to turn down the power settings in the esc out of fear of breaking gears. Truck was doing serious wheelies from a dead stop. And top speed tires felt like it was loosing traction on the pavement. When I'm at 70 percent throttle and suddenly give it 100 percent throttle tires would break loose and fishtail a bit. 🙂

Thanks for watching and welcome back to the hobby yes I do work on all my own rigs umm so the xmaxx is ok I had one a few years back it was not my cup of tea I had problems with my esc pinon and spur gear stripping out constantly your best best is to go with the arrma brand better bang for your buck to be 100% honest hope this information helps you out 👊🏽
