Run some sand paper on the inside of the clutch bell.. It could become glazed

I've been wanting to get one myself for quite some time. Lot (well maybe not a lot by some standards) smaller than the 5ive T. I have seen quite a few people have issues with the DBXL but all RCs have their little quirks. All pretty easily remedied too. I know a lot of people use metric tools on Losi products, but a lot of Losi products are actually standard sizing. I can see putting my 32cc out of my 5ive T into the DBXL when I get the BR 40 for the 5T. Already broken in and used quite a bit. I don't imagine it will be a direct fit but who knows. What I do know is the G320 is quite a large engine for a DBXL so it should make it quite fast. Might even be able to gear it a lot higher than stock because of the power of the 32. I believe the G320 is 13.5 hp while the 23 (I thought they come with 29cc now, but not sure) is probably at best pushing 8 hp. I definitely like gassers but don't want to keep buying huge 40 pound behemoths. Lol. Not only can be a pain transporting, but most importantly storage space. I've currently got 13 RCs, most are electric and I'm not even an electric fan. I'm more into nitro and gas, but a majority of my purchases are because they appeal to me in one way or another. I have been slowly but surely been getting annoyed by lack of runtime with electrics compared to how long it takes to charge the batteries for them. Most of my RCs run 2 packs and only last 20-45 minutes depending on which I use. My 5ive T is barely even warmed up by that point. Lol. Carrying a gallon of fuel is a lot easier than charging and lugging around 16 battery packs. I know the fuel tank on the DBXL is only 50ccs smaller than the bigger 5T as well as a smaller engine requires less fuel. I imagine the DBXL gets probably 50 minutes or more on one tank of gas although the receiver pack probably doesn't last nearly as long being it's nihm. Not much room in the battery box I've heard but I'm sure there is something out there good enough. I run a Killer RC 15c 7200 mAh lipo in the 5T and I know that won't fit. Hopefully something near 5000 mAh will work in the DBXL.

Way off on your horsepower.

Would recommend a kill switch and yes like the other person said, go through the car and tighten everything down 👍

Gd vid man. Sucks u had so many issues though. Personally i could say a few things, ive had a couple gas 1/5 scales for a while . #1. The stock shocks on a dbxl arent very gd but if u increase the oil weight an put on btter springs it will b better #2. The stock 23cc isnt worth upgrading when u can pick up a gd zenoah 30.5. For relatively cheap an upgrade the hell out of it just like ur thinking ported an polished head, tranfer ports, better carb. Even little shit helps a lot with a gd engine. #3. An this is a big 1. Pls get rid of that air filter why H.H sells that filter w/ the car is stupid. If ur driving it off road so much dirt gets through that filter its not even funny. An dont get any TGN its the same ive fucked 2 engines w/ a tgn a gd 1 is the 2 stage dome air filter that comes stock on the losi 5. Or the bartalone 3 stage dome filter. Sorry that u had a bad time a lil with. H.H. hopefully when u get all the parts from them stuff will. Look up hope this helps 2. Bye

You can use the MCD Race Runner 5 Airfilter with "Snorkel". It fits the DBXL perfectly and the airfilter will not on the side anymore
@-manchild-91283 жыл бұрын
That looks interesting. Can you put different filters on it as well?
