Do you think this would work well in a X-Maxx .. I was originally thinking a black edition savok or reefs raw 500

Tbh it works fantastic with the large heavy wheels on the lmt and works great in my xt8e 22 race truggy so I can't see any reason why it's wouldn't work just as good in an xmax I would run a ubec with it though so you get full power and speed :)

I still have to get it on the test rig but im sure from the performance of the dbs4084v it will be good

How would you go about uping the voltage to the servo to use it at 8.4 volts???
@WTFRCCars3 жыл бұрын
You would need to swap out the stock esc or run a bec that has adjustable voltage, if you run a bec it connects to your lipo then outputs directy to the + & - on the servo leaving only the signal wire from the receiver to the servo, you can then set the bec to 8.4v and the rest of the radio gear is still running 6v from the esc :)

There's some cheap bec's on AliExpress :)

@@WTFRCCars Assuming you added a Bec? Getting ready to add one and a better servo, the slop in the factory setup on the LMT is mind blowing. No wonder people complain its hard to control.

Yeh with the treal hubs, steering bar and servo saver plus a good servo it's a totally different RC to drive so much more accurate :)

Seems really slow for the specs doesn't it Craig?
@WTFRCCars3 жыл бұрын
It's only running 6v and the servo saver is set up for high torque not in the hole for speed that said it works really well we got 2 of the LMT's running them and no issues so far.
