Good graphite shock towers :) replacing the composite shock towers with alloy or graphite is the way to go and looks good

Yeah, Carbon's always better (most of the time!) The stocks were stamped Aluminum, that in the M8 had a tendancy to bend
@socalrcguy110 жыл бұрын
Oh ok then, but ya ur right carbons is better

Stock turnbuckles shafts? I just purchased the rpm rod ends but are they the stock turnbuckle shafts?
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+MikeeProvolt The 4-40 RPM Rod Ends wilkl fit the stock Losi Turnbuckles - Be careful on the length of the RPM end vs the stock ends - The completed turnbuckles need to be the same length as before

I Have a problem with the rear dogbone being too short. Is there a c.f. for them?
@TNRCmedia7 жыл бұрын
What did you end up doing about the length of the cv axles? Just ran into the same problem

I never heard back from Horizon Hobby and ended up losing interest in the 1/14th scale stuff.

There is a way to “space” the out drive cup on the diff. It’s the 2mm you’ll need for the short axles. GPM cvds maybe a better choice over the LOSI part. In my opinion it was a huge oversight and a critical issue for what is an amazingly fun class of vehicles. Not surprised it’s discontinued and parts are a bit scarce. Consume, dispose, repeat. Too bad...

Hi - have you managed to broke any of A-arms during bashing? They look very strong!
@TheRCNetwork7 жыл бұрын
Nope, no arms breakages

Those are great news! After Hobbyking chineese crap sounds very promising - what are the most common parts which I would need for my new Mini 8ight-T? Thanks!

what motor and esc will you be running in episode 4? i cant wait until that episode to find out as i am really in need of a new motor for my truggy.

traxxas velineon 380 works just fine as a bolt in.
@trevorsteeves618810 жыл бұрын
does the stock esc work good with the traxxas velineom 380?
@zacharysorrell148910 жыл бұрын
Tyler Dimery the velineon 380 motor is to much power for the mini 8ight and 8ight t because it may be 1/12 scale but its a 1/12 scale of how big it would be in real life and its smaller than a mini e revo and its already to much power for that
@tylerdimery509310 жыл бұрын
Zachary Sorrell To each is their own, i find the 380 to be perfict for this truggy to be honest and i know im not the only one who thinks this, as it is a very popular drop in on the fourms.

I'm working out all the bugs right now for episode 4. Had to turn to the dremel to make my choice of motor work.
