LOSI NASCAR BRUSHED UPGRADE DISASTER OOPS!

In this video I take one of my Losi Nascar Groms and do a brushed motor upgrade.. Super fun to drive.. I believe my gearing played a huge part in melting the motor. Back to the drawing board. on the road to find the best brushed 380 motor for this rig.

Rlaalro has some pretty good motors for these I found they have lots of smaller RC and wanted to see if they sell electronics alone and they do so well see how it goes

Check out a grumper speed 400 long can . 12 v.. 380 and 400 is same can size

The tires on the losi nascar are no good in my opinion I hope someone comes out with good tires and where did you find shock springs for the nascar 😮🤔

Springs i grabbed from my local hobby shop. Superstitionhobbies.com. The tires are actually pretty good on my streets.

Put a Spektrum avc Receiver or traxxas tsm super str8 with these tires thank me later no warming tires up

@@MrMeDos I put a arrma heat sink on my losi nascar motor and it should fit the traxxes 380 motor also I put a 20t pinion gear and 57t spur on my losi nascar and it's running about 25 or 27mph stock motor and the esc is different from the groms 😎👍 good video

How was the temps on the motor & esc when you where done? That’s speed seems pretty good for that size car if you just want to drive it controllably if you over power it it just becomes uncontrollable & the tires would be toast. 😂

Temps was 250-260.. cooked the motor.. melted the plastics inside the motor.. l’m hearing bad things about this motor. If their is a low Turn brushed 380 motor that can give this speed, i’m all for it..

So the 18T motor failed? What about a 25T 380?

dont have a 25T moto. stock is 28T. I wouoldn't think it would be much of a difference, a couple mph maybe.. but 18T from 28T is a big enough difference to see a change.. Maybe the Traxxas motors are just not built well IDK. Im not familiar with brushed motors.
