I watched every video I could find on this Losi RC, before ordered. Hope I made a good decision! My purchase will be on day 1: A. New Savox Servo, like in my Typhon $92 B. 17mm Hex Upgrade by Hot Racing $33 C. 3S 100C battery $79 D. Pro line wheel / tire package $80 - $120 Terrain mostly on: Baseball or Softball fields nearby, 1x month official track

Thanks for the parts tip. Db pro is just straight up awsome out the box, it's Losi's version of the Senton BLX, just does what it says on the tin. Got the punch and timing turned up on my db pro, pops short wheelies now and just takes off, easily does 60mph now. Really don't get why there's so much lasernut content on KZbin and not much for the db pro and also how the db pro doesn't have the problems of the lasernut when the lasernut uses all the same gearboxes, drive shafts, diffs and suspension parts. Can only be the strain running on 4s and turning the big wheels when they do pizza impersonations 🤷‍♂️ wonder how reliable it would be on 3s only and using the db pro motor instead? Which leads to another point, the db pro is faster on 3s than the lasernut on 4s too.

Picked up the DB Pro last month and have been modding it, threw on a 17mm kit and 2.8 proline trenchers. Its so bad ass I'll recommend this RC to anyone.

If anything, Losi will come out with a brushless 5T. 5ive E perhaps. Either way, Losi has the 1/5 scale market on lockdown, as well as nitro racing. I doubt they are going to do anything to "compete" with Arrma.

Guy, you are literally the first to pull a backflip with the DB Pro that I've seen. I only run mine on 2s and I doubt it will do it on 2s with the stock tires. I also don't jump it much if at all.

I run Speedtreads Vulture tires! Very similar in size and in my opinion look even better! 🤣 Jks dude! But they are cheaper! Come with a 12mm adapter with 14mm stock! Great video as always! I like the end bash montage! 🔥🇨🇦

This has me even more interested in a DB Pro as I have many sets of Proline MX28s on 12mm hex wheels running on my Traxxas Stampede and had some on my Arrma Big Rock before I converted it to 17mm hexes. Is the DB Pro on 14mm hexes as stock? I'd like to find out if possible to convert that to 17mm hexes too.

Losi hexes were too narrow HoBao hex gave the wheels a better backspacing from the hub. Positive results from that change.

Redcat Racing KAIJU with HoBao metal hexes with Hot Racing 12-17mm adapters! BEST COMBO out there. I've covered it many times with my own Lasernut now called MonsterNut👍💯👊

I have both!!! The DB Pro is OBVIOUSLY much easier to manage unless you have open area for the DBXLE

Remember this, if you break, or run out of batteries, you will be carrying the thing. 30+ pounds gets extremely heavy quickly if you got to carry it. The DB Pro is (I think) about 6 pounds and is a lot easier to carry. Another thing, don't forget you have to store it when not using it as well as the DBXLE uses (but not 100% needed) two batteries vs the DB Pros one. 😉
