great point and a point everyone was missing. i knew something was up, when he started chuckling the first time the sister started to cry...he is kind of a sadist or masochist i forget which one is which....he loved seeing her suffer and he is genuinely not sorry. in fact, i think HE is the narcissist not his sister. i think the sister is a very typical young person of today who simply doesn't have a lot of responsibility. but first of all it was clear to me that she is not in any way shape or form a bad person, and secondly yep he is not at all sorry. his whole vibe was trivializing what he did.

@@nekea93 since I’m the youngest people often think I had it easy. When, in reality he was taking out the garbage, and I was cleaning the three floors of the apartment building. At a certain point I was actually doing 16 credits and working 40 hours. To reach out, then dropped out because it was too much. I did have stuff going on in my life, everything that was handed to me, was handed to him as well. If anything, he got more than me because he had his school fully paid by my parents, well, I had to pay my schooling. We both got cars, and he got to live in the building for a certain amount of years free without my family being there. my dad owns a different property now and I don’t get it for free like he did. I would be paying rent. So just to clarify, he got more than me.

I cannot imagine being so angry at one of my siblings that I would destroy their property. If our relationship is that bad, I would just sever all ties. I'm not subjecting myself to toxic people just because we share DNA.

I did that once. As a hormonal 14-15 year old, I punched my sisters laptop screen. I’m 29 now and I’m so disgusted that I was that out on control. Thankfully, I have great relationships with my siblings now, and would NEVER do that to anyone, family member or not. This guy, on the other hand, is doing this in his 30s, has zero remorse, and is psychotic. Wow.

15:48 - I HATE when JM does the whole guilting people for not being in touch with their family members, especially in cases where the family member is clearly toxic. JM - STOP making it a bad thing that this young woman (and any person) is not in touch with toxic people, whether they share DNA or no. STOP encouraging him to reach out to the sister - the sister has dealt with this guy's toxic behaviour more than enough. The sister is on the verge of escaping. JM it is WRONG to encourage that she be back in touch with him. Also, seriously who gives a flip what the parents think? i) it is highly likely that the parents created this monster at the expense and to the detriment of their daughter. and ii) even if they have the best parents in the world, she is STILL ALLOWED to cut toxic people from her life. JM does this WAY too often, and she needs to stay in her lane on this issue. NO ONE should ever encourage the reconnection of someone with the toxic person they have escaped.

It's a cliche that we need to move on from. Pretending to have a strong family allows the parents and family to look good to outsiders. If you have someone who isolates themselves from the family, that makes others question things. People just care about optics. They want people to think they have these strong family values when they don't.
@sonquatsch85852 жыл бұрын
i agree with this into ETERNITY !!! i come from an extremely toxic family and i am regularly confronted with people just like JM who do NOT get it. they do not get it....they just don't, they come from great families and cannot imagine what toxicity is like. YES to forgiveness, NO to being around that mess. she needs to not go near that ticking time bomb.

That guy is a terrifying headline waiting to happen. He can "put it on", say all the right things, sound polished and respectful in order to manipulate, but flips out like THAT?! Over a parking spot?! Of course, the parking spot wasn't the real issue, that was just the catalyst. On top of that, the way he spoke to his father was disgusting. The man that made all of his opportunities possible, the same man he was just using to tell his story of "respect and hard work"... what a vile little punk.

I know exactly how she feels about someone raging at her like that. I've had it happen to me on several occasions, and people just stand around and watch. I know what it's like to feel unsafe. I also know how it feels to be victim blamed. I did what I needed to do to protect myself in some situations.
