Agreed. I noticed too that while the tape was playing of him losing it, she was crying even more. He, on the other hand, was not just calm, but also nodding his head as if his behaviour was OK, and seemed to be suppressing a smirk. That smirk is such a tell for sociopaths - I agree with @Darelen Velez - this guy has sociopath written all over him.

So true! My ex-husband was like that. Fly into a rage with little or no warning & then pretend nothing happened 2 minutes later. Classic gaslighting abuser! All he cared about was what 'the public' (people outside of our home) thought. Wasn't until I had him arrested for DV that he had to face the law. Hopefully, his dude will get help & his sister exposing him doesn't endanger her more.

great point and a point everyone was missing. i knew something was up, when he started chuckling the first time the sister started to cry...he is kind of a sadist or masochist i forget which one is which....he loved seeing her suffer and he is genuinely not sorry. in fact, i think HE is the narcissist not his sister. i think the sister is a very typical young person of today who simply doesn't have a lot of responsibility. but first of all it was clear to me that she is not in any way shape or form a bad person, and secondly yep he is not at all sorry. his whole vibe was trivializing what he did.

@@sonquatsch8585 Sadist = enjoys causing pain to others. Masochist = enjoys receiving pain. He definitely has problems to treat his sister so angrily and maliciously. I don't know if he is a narcissist (I doubt either one of us is qualified to make that distinction, especially from one video), but he definitely does have serious issues in this is how he reacts to something so small. I hope seeing himself on camera is a wake up call for him because this is not acceptable behavior.

The fact he came in like "oh she's spoiled and doesn't help the family" and then suddenly has nothing to say when he's on film acting like psychotic toddler meltdown over a parking lot at 2 am.....yeah, he's not going to change or do better. He even argued in his answer at the beginning, if you pay attention, that she drove him to act that way. He's projecting on her because he very clearly takes advantage of his parents and uses his anger and violence as leverage to get everything he wants.

I remember seeing this. To say that the defendant behaved outrageously would be an understatement. Never in my life have I ever had anyone speak to me in that manner, or be that visibly angry with me. If she’d had some pepper spray/mace with her, he would have more than deserved to be sprayed with it. Their father needs to stop acquiescing to his demands/tantrums, and making excuses for his behavior. Just because he behaves stomps and screams like a two-year-old child is no reason to give into what he wants. They do all need to be sent on their own ways in life. This sister needs help. I hope she finds the support that she needs to separate herself from the toxic mess that is her family. The brother, on the other hand, probably shouldn't go for therapy. The research shows that sociopaths are not 'fixed' by going to therapy, and that all they get out of the experience is to learn how to better play the system and how to better play and take advantage of the people around them. Therapy usually makes sociopaths worse rather than better.

I would bet that 'poor dad' has been enabling this son for the son's entire life and that that is a huge part of the reason that the son turned out to be a monster. 'Poor dad' made his bed so now he can lie in it. The problem is that 'poor dad' is shifting the repercussions of his own behaviour off to the daughter instead of dealing with the mess that the father made. I will save my sympathy and empathy for the daughter/sister (the plaintiff) and leave 'poor dad' and the son to whatever karma decides to bring them.

I know for a fact the father is scared of the defendant. That was just insane. I believe the plaintiff when she says the family appeases him because of his temper, especially having had to deal with it for over 30 years. This is sad. He is holding his family in emotional hostage. SMH

@@nekea93 since I’m the youngest people often think I had it easy. When, in reality he was taking out the garbage, and I was cleaning the three floors of the apartment building. At a certain point I was actually doing 16 credits and working 40 hours. To reach out, then dropped out because it was too much. I did have stuff going on in my life, everything that was handed to me, was handed to him as well. If anything, he got more than me because he had his school fully paid by my parents, well, I had to pay my schooling. We both got cars, and he got to live in the building for a certain amount of years free without my family being there. my dad owns a different property now and I don’t get it for free like he did. I would be paying rent. So just to clarify, he got more than me.

15:48 - I HATE when JM does the whole guilting people for not being in touch with their family members, especially in cases where the family member is clearly toxic. JM - STOP making it a bad thing that this young woman (and any person) is not in touch with toxic people, whether they share DNA or no. STOP encouraging him to reach out to the sister - the sister has dealt with this guy's toxic behaviour more than enough. The sister is on the verge of escaping. JM it is WRONG to encourage that she be back in touch with him. Also, seriously who gives a flip what the parents think? i) it is highly likely that the parents created this monster at the expense and to the detriment of their daughter. and ii) even if they have the best parents in the world, she is STILL ALLOWED to cut toxic people from her life. JM does this WAY too often, and she needs to stay in her lane on this issue. NO ONE should ever encourage the reconnection of someone with the toxic person they have escaped.

It's a cliche that we need to move on from. Pretending to have a strong family allows the parents and family to look good to outsiders. If you have someone who isolates themselves from the family, that makes others question things. People just care about optics. They want people to think they have these strong family values when they don't.
@sonquatsch8585

i agree with this into ETERNITY !!! i come from an extremely toxic family and i am regularly confronted with people just like JM who do NOT get it. they do not get it....they just don't, they come from great families and cannot imagine what toxicity is like. YES to forgiveness, NO to being around that mess. she needs to not go near that ticking time bomb.

That guy is a terrifying headline waiting to happen. He can "put it on", say all the right things, sound polished and respectful in order to manipulate, but flips out like THAT?! Over a parking spot?! Of course, the parking spot wasn't the real issue, that was just the catalyst. On top of that, the way he spoke to his father was disgusting. The man that made all of his opportunities possible, the same man he was just using to tell his story of "respect and hard work"... what a vile little punk.
