Christina, did you ever hear Barbara Cook’s rendition from the “Follies In Concert” production from sometime in the late 80’s or early 90’s? She sings it 1-1/2 steps higher (starting on F natural, which I think would make it in the key of C). Would it be possible to do another recording in this higher key? It really hits the sweet spot for sopranos! By the way, your phrasing, dynamics and emotion are sheer perfection! ❤

Hello! I haven't heard that version (do you have a link?) I had been thinking about recording a new video of this in another key but hadn't quite settled on which key. It's tricky because I try to make my videos useful for as many people as possible, but I'll have a listen and see if that would be a good option! (I'm also available for recording commissions if you ever need any customized tracks like this 😄)

I saw it; thank you! A great recording, and I agree that the key would be perfect for high voice types, so I went ahead and recorded it the other day. I still need to add in the lyrics to the subtitles and all that but will try to have it up soon 💛
