Biffa makes a slip lane off the new bridge and then completely ignores its function on the next intersection..😮‍💨😅 If anyone uses that slip lane it is a miracle. The intersection should have no turning from the direction of the new bridge. And personally I'd separate the harbor road entirely from the new bridge road.

That's not even talking about the unconnected bicycle paths! I say just turn the road off of the bridge into a six lane road to match up with the bridge, and then turn the slip lane into a proper bicycle path that doesn't just stop at a crossing so bicycles can get places.

28:00 Not gonna lie to you, I love you Biffa, I really do, mate. But that whole extra lane was hard to watch. You split that one lane off turning the main road from 3 to 2 lanes, only to turn it back into a 3 lane road at the next junction. And also make the extra road 2 lanes so cars can turn left to hit back onto the main road?! Why not just scrap that extra road and leave it as a 3 lane road?! :)

The slip lane and the right hand turn lane at the adjacent junction are duplicating each other. It would be better to get rid of the slip lane and keep the road as either 3+3 or 3+2 right up to the crossroads.

I liked the idea of the bypass-road at the end of the new bridge, but seeing the whole road system there, that road seems a little unnessecary to me, as the normal road also gives access to the same area of roads. Maybe you can make that road a direct road to the highway and back.

Biffa, that cargo road needs to be in the opposite direction, the trucks are exiting against the entering ones and also you will have one less exit into the intersection you created. I think I wrote this back when you created it. 😏 Also, the road from the highway is not connected to anything anymore

Biffa! You overworked that bridge connection next to the old factory. The splitlane is for turning right when coming form the bridge. Therefore, the 2+2 is enough because there is no need for turning right.

Uh, Biffa, the Queen's Bridge (Koningin means Queen, and thus Koninginnebrug means Queen's Bridge) has those lovely protected bicycle paths; a lovely barrier between the motorized vehicles and bicycles, and they can get on and off on the small island side, but they have nowhere to go on the big island/industrial area side. So why not just turn the road connecting there into a six lane road, and then turn that small slip-lane road into an actual bicycle path with a protected / traffic light crossing for bycicles to get on either side of the Queen's bridge. And then make that bicycle path go to places people one bikes would like to go to. (Does the industrial road allow bikes on there?) Also; that second bridge, that was a hanging one; why not just make it another Queen's Bridge road section bridge; it has that magnificent protected bicycle lanes on it, that way you don't lose the bicycle lane, and the area and bridges retains the same look; very much making it all work together. As for names, the big bridge would then be the Tea Queen Brdige, and the little one would be the Tea Princess Bridge. Also, it magnificently shows off the difference between proper (protected) Dutch Bicycle infrastructure and unsafe painted bicycle gutter on the American large fast collector that no one but hardcore cyclists and people with death wishes would dare to cycle on. PS: Does the Konginnebrug asset allow for changing the color of the bicycle lane, so it's a uniform green? If not, may it be possible with the Marking Tool?

With the intersection marking tool you're doing the two left-most lanes going straight and the right-most have to merge from 3 lane to 2 lane at 39:27, but when driving on the right you'd have the left-most lane merge because it's a lane for passing by while the two right-most lanes are the "foundation lines" if it makes sense. It's normally like this in Norway at least :D

34:22 Dude there is no traffic of the enterence but there is a huge traffic in the exit. Because enterence has a tunnel and no connection with the bridge way. You should do the same for the exit. Traffic light is a very slow thing for a bridge and cargo way.

Next to the Koninginnebrug in Rotterdam is a beautiful vertical raise bridge which was used for trains before there was a tunnel. I don't know if someone already made this bridge for SC, would be so nice to have that. That bridge is called 'De Hef' in Rotterdam.

Loving the Koninginnebrug! You can re-route the bus route now from the airport to Space Oditea so it's a bit faster. Also I would make another bridge for the small island on the left and then put a ferry between where the lighthouse and the fort is. Maybe the sliplane from the Koninginnebrug can go right and over or underneath the industry area and connect somewhere over there so it has a proper function?

38:05 you have your slip road turning right but then a right turn at the junction. I'd get rid of the right turn and make sure you have give way and you-go-through on the slip road junction. The road to the left of the derelict factory isn't connected to anything - it could be a useful place to take traffic off before/bring it on after the main junction. I am also almost certain this area is going to become a traffic nightmare once you start building on the island, so can't wait to see that :D

With the length of that bridge, would think it would look great if there was a floating bridge asset. As well arched bridge at each end to allow smaller boats past it, and swing opening in middle for large boats. Reference Hood Canal bridge. Always fun to see you create. 👍

Name for the bridge: Queen Tea De 'Koniginne Brug' is a dutch bridge and it means 'The Queens Bridge' so thats why your bridge can maybe be called Queen Tea

An idea for the small island on the left (by the lighthouse): You could build a gondola to the other side :) I'm not sure whether both ends need public services, though. And if there was more space, I would have suggested a proper highway interchange and another one right by the industrial area (from a road connecting the highway and the new bridge).

If you reverse the directions of the one way system by the harbours you could use the extra lanes from the bridge to create slip lanes that allow vehicles to join/exit that loop you've created. Reversing the direction of the harbour loop would also allow you to create a slip lane that skips the traffic lights at the junction by the big old factory. I've probably not written that clearly, but hopefully you get what I mean

The single lane ramp coming off the bridge seems to serve no practical function. I'd just have a 6 lane arterial coming off the bridge all the way to the major intersection. Also, i doubt keeping that rusted out factory would have been a priority with a major bridge and road project like this; I think a consideration for removal should be taken to give the cargo traffic and the nearby residential area a cleaner transition to this new arterial/bridge connection.

If you stretch out an intersection too much then that's what causes the jerky traffic stop/starting. The same thing happens if you stretch out a custom connection too much on a straight road.

For the connection from island to island maybe something like an aqua-duct. A nice name for the bridge: Queens tea bridge.

Turn the second bridge into more of the Queen's Bridge and you get beautiful Tea Queen Bridge and Tea Princess Bridge. Also, I think Island to Island should be a cable cart and the Island with the forth should cater solely to pedestrian tourism; aka a walking park.

Bridge suggestion: Teatime Bridge! Reason: Because of the bridge openings, you having to wait till the ships have done though, so you can continue across the bridge, if that makes sense. Also cuz of this episode having a lot to do with timing traffic.

You should build a little island in the middle of the bridge as kind of a break im the middle. Put a wee light house on it and maybe more of the rocks that you have at the end.

Another enjoyable episode, with all the usual "screaming at the screen" moments we all know and love. :D:D My biggest teeth-grinding moment came at 24:50, when you built that unnecessary tunnel. You already had a bridge, you could have just extended it by a couple more segments before dropping to ground level. Then that pesky dock road (and its horrendous tunnel) could have just looped underneath with a little bit of finagling!

31:26 there's no need for a left turn on that little shortcut road. It just takes you back to the road it split off from. The only problem is possible use is a turnaround to go back over the bridge.

Biffa, what if that single lane offshoot road continued to hug the road it was split from, then tunneled under the intersection, merging back into its original road. The dedicated turn lanes could be adjusted down to two lanes. If you wanted the left turn, you would have to take the single lane bypass.

Hi Biffa I think you should rebuild the brodg to a cable bridge like the bridge between Sweden and Denmark ( I see it form a comment which I agree ) or the Rio - Antirrio bridge in Greece . You should build a highway road on the bridge and the connection between the bridge and the highway and build a highway on the islands and it is a good idea to build a bicycle highway.
