I lost my mom when I was 6 and lost my dad last year when I was in matric. It hasn't been an easy journey but the Grace has covered me. It still hurts but with time it does get better. The biggest thing I have learned is that healing is a journey it will take time.

*sigh* I'm so sorry Tholoana, I'm here if you want to talk. It's ok to be angry and go through it. Don't for one chance feel like you being annoying talking about it, the more you say it the easier it gets. The one thing my friends allowed me to do was to tell my story as much as possible. Whoever is there and willing to hear you out, share and get right with yourself.

The world feels heavy at that time and it takes time to get to that healing place and start healing. The trick is actually going through everything and not overwhelming yourself to get to a good place quick.

I avoid watching this video since the day it was uploaded cause I knew how much it would trigger me. I lost memo in 2008 and I still haven't healed. I love how emotionally calm you are I would've burst into tears cause I haven't really dealt with her passing and I don't think I ever will.Losing a mom definitely reveals your extended family's real characters, unfortunately that has scarred me for life and I only engage with a few family members. My biggest fear now is dying while and leaving my daughter in this cruel world😭I pray everyday for God to keep me until she has kids atleast. There is nothing more painful then losing a mom😭😭

God gives us healing my love, He does and in time you will pull through. The minute you do, the anxiousness and thoughts of your own passing will go away so you focus on today and making it through the day. I pray for you and with you. Loss is painful and we struggle so much with it but we gain another angel that will watch over us.

I was telling my friend kere God knew why I had to loose my mother at such a young age. He knew very well. And it's only years later when it all makes sense. I was very angry Omg only God pulled me out of that hole. And with that said we able to encourage others and be there for them. Yes, our experiences won't be the same but we can understand. Sending you a big hug, you strong and brave and someone is getting comforted by your story. ❤️❤️

Thank you so much for sharing, I can relate I lost my mom in my third year of varsity ❤️🤗. I thought life was over and not worth living but that’s when I started to draw so so much close to God and find myself. I also invested in godly friendships. And I thank God that he kept me and helped me through my healing process though it was not easy.

I think this was so comforting on so many levels, it really feels like there's someone out there who truly gets it. I lost my dad when I was doing my first year (2016)and I was just as angry. Someone also mentioned that it's time to get to know God on a different level-to allow him to be everything my dad was to me, it's NOT easy but I think I get it. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️

Took this morning to just binge and I did not think I'd find myself so deep in my feels. Nothing can ever prepare one for the loss of a mother and when I look back, so much of what you have shared here makes so much sense. Even though lenna ntse ke mo llela almost 14 years later, I agree that the timing was right because now it would be so much worse and I probably would not be where I am right now if I was still under my mother's skirt or hothwe attached to her apron strings... hona moo. .
