In America, when you lose a newborn, they bathe them, dress them well, and present them to you in a very sensitive manner. They let you hold them as long as you like and even take photos. I don't know why we fail patients and new mothers in Kenya. When your Healthcare job becomes routine and you become insensitive its time to change your career.

Pete has just reminded me of when I was newly diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2021, I woke up one day, shook up myself and decided to brave it, I could listen to Wanjiku stories on this channel and realize that people are going through tougher times than myself, even one time during that season I took some food to someone in Kawangware I had seen on the show... What am saying is that someone's tough times may just encourage you to rise up and keep going!

I had my baby but in the nursery for 3weeks and i had to watch other women give birth, go home and leave me in the hospital, i would cry everytime till i even started helping the women without milk to position their pumps and produce milk.... I saw my baby girl being put in the black waste paper. I had to tell the nurse to wait so that I can have a glimpse of her.

"A woman never forgets how she is treated during and after pregnancy. And if she was treated badly/negatively, she will eventually leave". This resonated with me. This does not only apply to the other parent, it applies to all the relationships around her. She leaves emotionally, psychology and eventually physically. It never remians the same. This interview was what we needed in this season. "Crawl to your healing". That parting short from Pst. Pitt. May God cause me to forget all the pain and struggle I have been thru AND May God make me fruitful. AMEN

Ooh my it’s been waaau listening to this two beautiful people. Waaau Waau Waau.. so many lessons, I can’t summarize but am encouraged, lifted, hopeful and I bless God for all the men that value their wives and thank God for the blessing of great husbands and great fathers. Ladies never take for granted when God has ordained one of the kind. We celebrate all the men that stand, appreciate and support their wives, mothers, daughters and respect women.
