It's amazing that when people know that they owe others money they don't even try to save a dollar or two a week to at least show that they're making an effort. "I'm broke" is not a legal excuse to not pay a debt.

The 1st lady outside has it right. Most parents bring in a complete stranger and expect their kids to fall in love with them simply because they did. Kids don't have a say or an opinion and like the two 'grown ups' outside they call the kids entitled and spoiled. Children have a voice and should be heard.

My dad passed away 20 years ago, my brother's and I were grown wheb he died, and my mom expected that we would all just fall in love with the man she married after him. My brother's barely tolerated him, I was more amenable to the union, then he passed about 8 years ago. The 3rd husband is even more abhorrent than the 2nd was. None of us like him at all, and I mean none of us, myself, my kids, my niece and nephew, my grandparents, literally the only person that likes him is my mom. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 and a 1/2 years and I am so thankful that my 2 teenagers love him, my whole family loves him. Parents shouldn't expect kids to just love the person they love, especially when those children are adults.

My mother is like a new person, friendly, happy, not super stressed all the time. We are now finally best friends like we were meant to be. I know she knows I don’t mourn him like she does, and doesn’t like it, because she doesn’t remember what an a-hole he was to everyone, including her! @@Tony_417 nope, I'm allergic and OCD.....the thing with cats - Anyone who cares for cats is committed to having a daily relationship with a box of poop, and that's really disgusting. My cats are 95% outdoor. They are inside right now because it's under 30 degrees outside.....the internet says to bring them in when it's under 45, but they have a cozy barn. Maybe I suck or am being mean? I don't think so. They prefer the outdoors. I like being outside when it's 35-45 as well..... They're great cats and I love them, because we ignore each other most of the time. Anyone with more than five cats (or kids) is a nut case. Allergies and OCD is the extent of my insanity. It's just autoimmune deficiency, susceptible to bacteria infections, like how pregnant women can't sleep with a litter box in the room.
