Some days it can be frustrating. It's very difficult getting a subscriber and then you lose another one or two. It makes me stop and think why that would happen and I try to figure it out, but there is no clear answer. Then I just forget about it and move on with more positive thoughts. We just have to keep going with our end goal in mind. As you say, "it's like running a business".

Over the last three days, I have gotten 1k+ views but lost 3 subscribers. I know It doesn’t sound like much, but I’m so close to 1k subscribers that it really hurts. Things that have helped break my heart, is that games have been glitching so I lose, which means I have less ways to make me happy. I know I’m probably just an irritating small KZbinr that just added music to videos (which I think is a reason some unsubscribe) but it’s heartbreaking 💔 You have helped me a lot tho❤

Losing subs is indeed hard, and it can be very demotivating sometimes. As a tiny channel, even one sub really matters to me (well, one sub still matters anyway no matter how big/small your channel is, lol), and that's why losing even one single sub makes me wonder how else I'm gonna improve my content, and thinking too much about it can be frustrating and even lead to burn out. Anyway, thanks for the great video! Cheers! 😄👊🏻

I understand where you’re coming from. In fact, I think we’re all guilty of feeling frustrated when losing 1 sub! But quality content will attract new subs, so focus on that. We can get better at creating content but we can’t force viewers to sub. Also, sometimes, I find that some subs I got are forcefully removed by KZbin. Not sure why but they tend to come back after a day or two 😊

No, thank you for your kind words. Partially, it isn't our fault. KZbin (and society) puts too much emphasis on the numbers and analytics and that is what everyone based your 'success' on. As long as you know what you are doing and what to focus on, you will be fine.

I've bought a yt channel from my friend with 30k subs، the chanel was about daily video vlogs ،the problem is with each video I post on the chanel I lose alot of subscribers but every time I post another video I lose less subs than the video before and that's because the people that get notifications to see my videos are less every time, well I gained some subscribers on some videos but in anyway the lost subs are much more than the gained and I can understand this because the audience knew that this channel was sold to me and they didn't like me, I'm so confused about what should I do, should I not Post any videos on it? Cuz every Time less and less views ? should I make a New channel? Or is there any hope that this channel Will start growing back after what happened?
@KevinChee2 жыл бұрын
It is kinda expected. Subscribers are often attached to the KZbinr themselves, especially vlogs. If they see a change in the person, they'll lose interest (unless you can give the same vibe, energy as the previous person) and they begin to unsub. The way I see it, you're pretty much building up new audience again and pulling them in because of you. On the plus side, your channel is already established so you can be getting some money from the channel while you're building your community again. Also, there's a tendency for viewers to subscribe if they see that your channel already has 30k subs so that's something as well. Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

Yeah, trading subs is bad, it can get your channel deactivated. Moreover, it doesn't do your channel any good. Simply inflating the numbers because we are obsess with it just do us no good. I just started a channel and uploaded a video it’s nearly on 100 views, I am on around 20 subs and just randomly have been losing around 1 subscriber every day? What advice do you have?
@KevinChee3 жыл бұрын
Upload a couple more videos then see how that goes. People come and go, that’s natural and we can’t force them to stay. So just focus on creating new videos and continue building your community.

Such a great vid. Overall I gained 300 subs this month but lost a handful and got so bothered by it😅this helped. I love your personality too
@KevinChee2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. 300 subs a month is a lot for your channel's size, don't let those small handful ones bring you down. As long as by the end of the month your numbers of subs is in the positive, then that's good. Now, for June, aim for 400 ok?

I gain like 4 subs and then lose 2 and it hurts every day
@KevinChee Жыл бұрын
Just keep producing content and at one point, it will tip over and you will gain subs faster than you lose subs. You won't notice lost subs after that.
