Wow, now I’m worried about trying to lose weight. I’m having knee replacement surgery with you this summer and I was planning to lose weight as I know it was a contributing factor to my knee issue.

It doesn't surprise me. I've lost over 100 lbs and am very close to there bmi cut. Given I can barely walk I lost weight the only way I know how cutting my calorie in take to 1000 per day. Did I lose muscle of course and good because they have no cut-off for how healthy a patient is only a cut-off of a weight to height ratio. If they let me have the surgery next week, I'd just cut weight like a wrestler by dehydrating myself. You see when somebody is in pain they'll do anything to make it stop.
