One of the things about the turtles is that they’re all supposed to be relatable to the point where you feel as if you’ve got a little bit of every one of them in your personality. That’s why they’re so cool, is because you can see little bits of yourself in all of them. It’s not just some simple relatable thing like on a Disney channel sitcom, where someone stubs their toe. When the turtles are used correctly they should make you feel like you could be any one of them, and that you like all of them because of that.

I consider Raphael my fav because he often goes through major character development due to being an hothead and often a lone wolf. Just look at the Mirage, '90, '03,' 07, '12, & the IDW versions.

Leonardo is by far the best martial artist among them. He is disciplined, great strategist and always pushes himself to be better. He also has so much responsibility for his brothers. Raphael is a great martial artist too but not as much as Leo. He uses brute force more than strategic martial moves. When used well his temper could come handy. But his selfisness and temper could also become a big issue in combat. I think Donatello comes third as a fighting skills. He is smart, so he chooses his fights wisely and prefers to use tools and surrounding if available. Also with his ability to invent very useful weapons and tools he can make his team win a fight without throwing a single punch. Michaelangelo comes fourth but not because he is far less capable fighter than his brothers. On the contrary, his unique handling of the situations can give his brothers a fresh perspective in a dangerous situation. He always thinks out of the box, and that's a very valuable asset. The weak part of his combat skills is that because of his lighthearted attitude he is less disciplined than his brothers. But that attitude also makes him heart of the group.

Raph isn't all that selfish, just watch a few episodes of the tmnt 2003, one episode raph went out of his way to help a kid free his mother, and in another, raph gave up hundreds of dollars so a blind lady could keep her home, that's not selfish, he's more middle ground, he's not selfish but he's also not selfless.

Growing up I could always relate to Donatello the most. I would still class him as my favourite turtle, but I can definitely relate more to Leonardo as I have grown older.

I think the Donnie from the very 1st movie will always be the coolest 1. He wasnt the stereotypical "nerd" how he is now. He was just as cool as the other 3 but smart as hell too. I really wish in future versions of the Turtles they take serious notes from the 1st movie cause they had Donnie right as well as the rest of the turtles. Donnie voice was even cool 👍🏽👍🏽.

Leonardo has always been my favorite since I was 2 years old in 89. He had that factor of where he helps his family and always there. I had a Grandfather who became a Father Figure to me growing up. I saw him as like Splinter and I was Leo. Very close to him and it terribly hurt when he passed away. Much how Leo felt. Not trying to go sapping on people here lol.

Here's my list of least to most favorite Ninja Turtles: 4) Michelangelo: He connects with people (and mutants) the quickest and his love of life can warm almost any icy heart. He wants to be everybody's buddy. He does admittedly annoy me sometimes and his quips about pizza in the 80's cartoon gets old. 3) Raphael: When I was in high school, he was my favorite because I related to him the most. He's quick to experience tantrums because he's the most frustrated and the most sensitive of the group. He cares about people and doesn't think twice to take action; that clashing with Leonardo's calm-headed mentality makes them good rivals. 2) Donatello: The wisest and gentlest Turtle. He's such a fanatic of technology and always strives to push his intelligence further. He saved the Turtles countless times thanks to his inventions, and despite his high intellect, he never thinks he's better than anyone else. 1) Leonardo: The most enthusiastic of martial arts and Bushido. He's always willing to put himself in danger to save someone. And the only thing that scares him is failing to save his loved ones. He can be hard on himself, which a lot of people can relate to. What I love the most about him is that he tries to be not only a good leader, but a good hero.

In Rise, I feel like Raph is a false leader. If you pay attention. Most of raph's decisions are based off of a sarcastic comment that either Leo or Donnie give. They just let Raph think he is in charge, like how parents do to small children.

Donatello is the Batman of the group and solves pretty much EVERY problem in the movies, shows, and comics with his intelligence. Every Large problem Generally has Raph, Mikey, And Leo fighting or playing bait while Donnie (sometimes with Aprils help) solves the problem away from the main group, Because he is leagues beyond them, they are his minions and he is the real power behind the crew, their gadgets and vehicles are made and maintained by Donnie and even Aliens are constantly asking him for help with their galactic or interdimensional problems. Enjoy who you Enjoy but know who has the power, It's Donatello. Love him or Hate him, He is the Best.

My favorite Turtle since I was a kid has been Leonardo. But honestly, as an adult I find myself relating to Donatello the most, because I like technology a lot and helping people with it. Still love Leonardo for his fighting skills and leadership, though. After that, Michelangelo for his fun personality, and Raphael for his "take no BS" attitude. I'd say personality-wise I'm a mix between Leo and Donnie, with a little bit of Mikey.

Let's see. I'm Leonardo in TMNT 2012. Leo in ROTTMNT. Raphael in the original TMNT. Raphael in Mutant Mayhem (return of the original turtles). Donnie in TMNT 2007 (movie). Nobody in TMNT Turtles Forever. Mikey in TMNT 2003 (I stopped at Fast Forward). So yeah, I'm multiple turtles.

I may be an oddity by saying this, but I've never really had a favourite turtle. Not as a kid, and not as an adult. I feel they all complete each other in a sense siblings tend to do. Leo being the natural leader/responsible eldest sibling, Raph being the muscles/the hot-headed rebel, Donnie being the brains/nerdy sibling and Mikey being the heart/the fun-loving but occasionally annoying youngest sibling.

But the thing is whoever is the turtle of choice or the turtle, one relates to the most, I think we are common in that we strive to become like Splinter. To be honest I think I'm a combination of all four turtles. I see a bit of my personality in all four turtles. I'm humble, quiet and will sacrifice myself for the greater good like Leo. I have a devotion to a specific cause all the time. At time I can be mad. I can get angry like Raph. I could be a hothead and get extremely enraged at someone however it's pretty rare. However you don't want to see my bad side. I could get violent if you make me get that way. I'm a nerd just like Donnie. However I am not a nerd with technology and science but with sports, retro gaming, anime and TMNT. Love learning new things about my interests all the time. I'm always in a great mood just like Mikey. Always in a playful and joking mood.

I always thought myself to be a Donnie and Leo hybrid. Leonardo was blue and used 2 katana's, my favourite weapon and colour. He was disciplined and responsible Donnie on the other hand was smart I personally like to think I'm smart and good with technology. I used to be a basic leonardo fan as a kid but the more I grew up I saw myself more and more as raphael. Especially in the 2012 show. He constantly got teased and irritated by the other even when he was trying so hard to be nice and he still was in the end, the one who got the blame(got bullied a lot for trying to be nice, funny how opposite life can be).Furthermore I have always been angered pretty quickly but now I am just more quiet....or depressive ANYWAYS. His taste for many things always comes down to me, even the dumb things he said when meeting Mona 😂, as in for his fav type. Tho as much as he was a bully he immediately jumped and was ready to give his life for the close ones for him. And in general, many many little things that you just notice for a split second while watching the show, little details that I cant explain properly
