Once again, great moments from Nikki and Paulo. Nikki asking "What happened to him?", clearly showing her intelligence and survival instincts, as what got Eko could also get them. And shwoing Paulo's face during Eko's funeral, showing his sadness about loosing a good member of the community and fellow survivor on the island. I'm glad they are both getting the focus they deserve.

Yes, Nikki and Paulo are one of the finest elements of the show. The part they play is subtle and nuanced, and yet unforgettable and fundamental for the overarching story.

Yes exactly. This is why Nikki and Paulo are always on the top ten characters whenever people think of their favorites from this show, because of moments like this. It would have felt like a forced or cheap moment if any other character had been there instead of those two

The flashback in this episode is a little tedious and predictable, but the on-island stuff is dynamite. Some of Jack's best moments.

@@funfunfun3624 For sure, but the double edged sword of that is it gave them the leverage they needed to negotiate an end date. Season 3 is full of some of the absolute best and worst of the show.

Spoiler below: That line has always bothered me because Jack IS on Jacob's list, as is James Ford, who Danny is on his way to murder. I guess the writers weren't totally sure where they were going at this point.

@@Aegolius True, though we don’t know how many lists Jacob has sent & Pickett wouldn’t necessarily be privy to Jacob’s actual communications & Ben isn’t always truthful so he probably doesn’t share everything Jacob communicates with everyone.

If it was the list of 4 that Michael had instead, they still were both on 'that' list and a contradiction to what Danny said. I agree though the argument that Ben just lied from the get-go to Danny and the others about everything regarding Jacob and his list is the most logical way out of the plot hole.

My favorite is when Kate goes back for Jack and finds him playing football with tom. Kates horrified face, the music comes in and Jack spikes the ball before the lost black screen. This show is so good.

Kate's backstory this episode was dumb to me. I can't see Kate going on a date with a cop, much less marrying one.

Since he apparently assists in fugitive recoveries from time to time, it's possible that Kate initially got close to him in order to get information. Then over time, she developed real feelings for him.

Pfff! Screw Kevin. Kate(Monica) loved him, he understood that even though she has to run. He'll find someone else and be fine. I feel bad for Kate. So lonely being on the run. Having to lie. So lonely wanting a life she knows she can't ever realistically have. Having to keep SO many things secret. Good thing she found The Island, where she has to stay in one place and learn. Her being found out as the fugitive there was the BEST thing that every happened to her. No more lying.

2 times while attempting to watch this series I stopped during this season because it just pissed me off so much that sawyer gets rewarded essentially with tail..even though he was a POS his entire existence..even though he's only nice to her so he can get some..the long con..
