Hello! Official ZhuZhu Pets wiki admin here! Just popping in to say it feels amazing to see someone mention ZhuZhu Pets once more here on KZbin in this new generation/decade. And yes, alot of unreleased zhus and media about them. I actually have a hold of some unreleased ones myself, most notably a dolphin Zhu Zhu pet from the Safari line, as i'm an enthusiast of collecting them (old and new) and I even discovered the full movie of the Secret of Zhu! Me and the small community we are had a watchathon at one point, we just have yet to archive it in a way. Alsooo, Zhu Zhu Pets are back, thought that would be mentioned at one point, as fish! And are set to expand the new Zhu Zhu line in the next ongoing year! Again, big dub to you for mentioning Zhu Zhu Pets. Always makes me smile!

my theory is that the G3 movie did actually come out, but not in theatres, I think it was actually "a Charming Birthday" which also came out around 2003 and is also worked on by Fat Rock entertainment ! the cover art of a charming birthday and this canceled movie's poster looks quite similar as well, both having the celebration castle as the setting

I HAVE THAT SQUINKIE! Mine is orange and blue too! I still have it and It looks exactly like yours, I had no idea it was uncommon. I didn't leave mine out in the sun (as far as I remember) and mine also has the lighter patch on the wings so it definitely isn't discoloration. I also personally had the squinkies DS game as a kid so that's probably where I got it from!

the moment you showed the Hello Kitty one I literally had chills bc I used to have an old toy [from about the 80's or 90's i think?] that had that exact same character on the front and I never knew who it was supposed to be. like as a kid i was so confused as to which character that was and my parents told me it must be a misprint\defect. turns out it isn't and the story behind it is so much more facintating than i thought! thank you for unlocking this memory for me. also i just found your channel and your'e really good! peace :]

If Miffy's creator sued over Little Honey I'd understand, but Cathy? The only similarity is they're both white cartoon rabbits, and they got rid of the X mouth over a decade before the lawsuit. Seems weird that they wouldn't sue earlier since Little Honey/Cathy had already been around for a long time. I didn't know about Cathy until now and I wish she was still around, she's so cute!

There is most likely 2 different versions of that squinkie ds game with 3 different characters in both of them. One of them has that bumblebee and the other has the yellow version.

Great video. Another lost/cancelled media was the Baby Wuzzles. They were a set of 6 or 7 new wuzzles(a toy line of cross breed animals like a bumblelion) that was supposed to be released but the doll like was cancelled before they were sent out. As of now, the only existing baby wuzzles are the ones given to families of investors and a photo from a 1987 French catalogue. There’s also one lost character all together, Woxee the brother of Foxee(A Zebra/Fox hybrid). Which is a shame since I love zebras(there my favorites) and I like foxes as well. So I would have grab them had they been released

My brother told my mom and I about Cathy last year I believe. Especially with the redesign she looks like Hello Kitty as a Rabbit. I have no nostalgia for Miffy to endure me to her, but there's only so many ways to make a Rabbit out of basic shapes. I think especially after the redesign this lawsuit is almost as ridiculous as a judge ruling Bratz copied Barbie

I find it sad how Cathy had to be removed and censored from the Hello Kitty franchise because she's a cute character and I love rabbits, but I'm glad the lawsuit at least led to those in need being helped.

There’s a possibility that the plot for the g3 MLP movie was reused for one of the other dvd movies or specials considering the plot of it (the ponies holding a celebration only for everything to go wrong) is extremely vague and could apply to any of the other dvd films

Omg I think I remember that ad of Pinkie Pie's message somewhere with one of my toy's pamphlets? I think I kept it for the longest time too because I liked looking at the pictures of the other toys. I guess I never thought much of it, because I thought they were referring to one of the movies they had already released. Funny how something I saw all those years ago related to lost media. I randomly saw that the MLP G4 pitch bible was leaked a while ago when I was browsing the internet archive, hopefully someone will be able to do some more investigating and find out more about the movie.

Sometimes squinkies come in like a secret third color like shopkins did if I remember correctly, so maybe that’s what happened there..? It’s not very likely, BUT your butterfly/bee squinkie could, in the ever so slightest chance, be a misprint or prototype! Sometimes those can get lost in with the others during production/packaging. There is an eeny teeny chance that your squinkie could be the very one that was used in the 3ds game stock image! It’s not very likely, but it’s a cool thought!

Hey there! I think your squinkie was part of the ds release, (my adult little sis had plenty og squinks) but through use and play, the oils from your hands turned the pigment on the body darker causing that orange pigment.
