Looking for the Reaper too, she was supposed to be my main when I was looking at the characters before the game released. I didn`t know we will not get her at the start :( But now that I actually learned the game a bit, I think that Deathblade will still be my main for raids and shit, and the Reaper will be main for pvp :D

Artist is something Im personally looking for. Not because of it being support, which I don’t mind, but the play style and looks are what bring me in. Loli or not, using art techniques against foes goes hard. After that, scouter for iron man and that’s it.

Having played valtan from party finder all I want in this game is more fast paced high risk/high reward support type class with fun gimmicks like do more dmg to make bigger shield or something so more people would play support.

Actually wanted to main Reaper but wasn't available at launch so I want a Reaper release. But I think rn, Artist would be the most beneficial for the game. Probably would alleviate the support drought slightly.

There's a support drought in KR and they have Artist. An additional class won't change this -- they'll have to make support more rewarding with a total rework somehow if they wanna fix this issue. I'd gladly take Reaper next, pls.

Won't help one bit!! Every high level Korean player will tell you that lack of supports is never going to end. In LFG in Korea groups sometimes wait hours for support(s).

@@dannyberry8725 Yeah that's what I see as well. I think going back to the drawing board on support identity is likely going to need to happen. Now, if there were like 5 support classes and they all had a unique flavor, this might change things, but for the most part, people like feeling powerful in these games. Supports don't feel powerful at the moment, and devs should eventually look for ways that helps make the power KNOWN. Supports are strong AF, but it isn't seen or felt enough.

Why do people think this? They could add 10 more different types of support and it wont help alleviate the support "drought." The best thing they could do is add support tripods to existing DPS classes so there is more flexibility.

my guess is that artist will come next due to the fact that you can literally go into your folder EFB scroll down and theres an data called opening_specialist(wich is the opening cutscene when clicking on the character) that got patched in with the destroyer update

roxx has already said Artist/aero is coming AFTER all the classes that are out already in KR. Also if you are on NA or EU go to the AH/Market and search reaper.

@@haste3 roxx has said tons of stuff that were inaccurate or completly false so i wouldnt wager on anything roxx said i simply commented with things that are factual everyone has opening_specialist with around 200mb's in their game folder so it COULD be a thing for next class release not that it is 100% they changed their prior release schedule aswell with arcana beeing first wich got swap'd out for lancemaster

Personally I think they might do Arcana and Artist next the reason I say artist would be to maybe try and get a few people to play a support cause of the shortage since it's the perfect excuse for it cause it would be the new and shinny class and Arcana since we'll there's only 2 mages in the game and we now have 4 warriors and 4 martial artists

I agree that the Arcanist and the Summoner are definitely the two most likely candidates for the next class for sure. The Summoner was actually my initial choice for what I was gonna main before it got pulled, but I've fallen in love w/ the Glaivier so whenever Summoner releases it'll actually probably be one of my main alts and I'll be sticking to the Glaivier. What are your thoughts on the ongoing discussion regarding support shortage? Given that they caved to demand for the Glaivier and released that instead of the Arcanist as they originally planned, and that the Artist is also up there in regard to demand, do you think there's a possibility that the Artist will be the next class release?

iirc, Saint mentioned the support shortage recently and mentioned that the artist didn't help at all. IMO, the support issue will remain as long as the vast majority of players are just not interested in playing support classes.

My wish is that they release new classes in pairs. I hate the flavor of the month phenomenon. It's nice to have a choice when it happens. I used to be excited for the Glavier but when I saw the hype and all the Glaviers showing up., I got so turned off and didn't bother anymore. As an example, WoW, Death Knight is released and everyone makes one and again for Pandas and Demon Hunters.

It wont help the support drought honestly, not many dps wanna switch to support, and if existing support mains switch to artist, this will just slow their vertical progression on their main supports so support drought is still gonna be a problem sadly

I disagree that both mages will be released together. I think they will release the Summoner, Scouter, Artist, Arcanist, and Reaper in that order. This way they spread out new subclasses throughout the existing ones and save a popular one for last to keep people around until it comes out.
