imaps = bad , google maps = good!! We downloaded google maps to our iPhones and they work way better from navigating Baja. Mixed with the Garmin Tread XL unstoppable force.

Android “Google maps” is more prevalent worldwide so Apple Maps kinda sucks while traveling

Tecate border crossing is definitely my favorite! And the scenic drive once you cross into the US is gorgeous!

Some questions about the tecate border crossing. I see you had an issue finding the entrance to the border crossing. Are the signs marked well or can we enter using google maps. Plus I have heard pets need to be crated or a barrier between the pet and front seats of vehicle. We are moving back to the states. We have been in La Paz for a year and decided Mexico is not for us. We have a black lab and we just do not want an issues at border. 😊

The Tecate boarder is really easy to find l, we just missed the sign to turn right when you come into town. The pets needing to be crated was a law in Mexico but the US boarder agents didn’t mind our dogs just in the back seat, as long as they are calm👍🏽

Once I saw you in the left lane as you approached the river overpass with the monument on the right and the McDonalds across the intersection were you should have turned right I knew that's where things went wrong. It easy to follow the other signs though because they do say San Diego.

I will be crossing there next Saturday for the first time I have seen where some say you should turn at the Mcdonalds San Diego sign are there any special lanes you should not enter nice video

Thank you! And you should be fine, just follow the signs for San Diego and then don’t enter the trucking lane on the right. But it’s all pretty easy, we just got a little confused. Lol we hope you had a good time in Baja California!

Do you guys speak Spanish? I want to go to Tijuana from San Diego (ocean beach) but don’t know Spanish.

We speak a little Spanish but it’s not always necessary to travel.
