I remember that Bonomo Turkish Taffy Commercial. I also remember an older one, perhaps from 1960 or so. Very simple jingle: "BO NO MO spells Bonomo. Oh Oh Oh - It's Bonomo - Turkish Taffy". Loved the chocolate, banana and vanilla flavors. Strawberry? Meh!

The following comment that you are about to read contains my personal opinions. I am not trying to be mean to anyone. I feel like you and a few other people are the only ones that care about this stuff, most people don't even bat an eye about it or flat out forget that this stuff exists. In fact, I think most people of today only care about stuff from Japan (No offence to anyone there,) or whatever junk people are into nowadays. I actually have a decent amount of care for 50's-90's media ever since I was young when I watched DVDs with old cartoons on them. (I actually have a decent size collection of thunder bean and other types of old content on DVDs and blu-rays.)

Hello TVDays! I have not found the Mattel DANCERINA doll commercial, I ordered as you said from Grapevine…still nothing. Do you have access to it still? If so, could you send a copy to me? I will forever be in your debt……she has always been my favorite doll and I have US versions and a European version, and the 2 black girls….if there is anyway to find the commercial I would platz!

So is that a fake Mickey Mouse with a long fluffy tail?
@barryputterman2412Ай бұрын
That is Foxy, one of a number of characters from the early to mid 30s who had some kind of resemblance to Mickey Mouse. Hugh Harmon and Rudy Ising both animated for Disney before setting up their own company.

@@barryputterman2412 I do remember the sad story of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and how he was stolen from Disney. But then came Mickey, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

Watch Disney now slap a C&D on Foxy.

So, is this TV for lost Baby Boomers, or lost TV for Baby Boomers who are not lost, or some combination thereof? (I am a Boomer myself!)
