Lost Camp Station was a place of food, water, and rest during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Whether you were a rancher taking livestock for summer grazing, a freighter hauling goods, or an emigrant heading west, the beautiful meadow made for a good stopping place before continuing to the Sacramento Valley, traveling north to Yreka, or going eastward to Nevada.
