Olivia missed a lot of triggers with Carmen because it triggers when anyone sacks, and she could have recurred a sacrificed vampire every turn with it's combat trigger. Still really strong

Blade of the bloodchief the dying creature's type has nothing to do with the trigger. It matters if it is equipped to a vampire. So every creature dying gives the equipped vampire 2 +1/+1 counters

@goberthicks umm your commander should have had way more counters. the sword equipment give two counters in the Equipped creature is a vampire not in the dying creature was a vampire, you could have gotten your commander to lethal alot sooner

As a Naya Dinosaurs deck was my first deck I built from the ground up, I am required by law to root for the Dinosaur deck. As per usual, I edit as I go. Also, unsleeved decks makes me uncomfortable. GISHATH HAS BABY! Apparently Windfalls remove Tori's will to live.

Great fun game! Everybody was able to show off their deck which I think is great. I'm saying this for engagement and because I think it's neat. Olivia's commander really popped off this game, but Carmen would've gone even harder. Blade of the Bloodchief gives two counters when any creature dies if the equipped creature is a vampire AND Carmen gets a counter when a permanent gets sacrificed. She could've sacrificed the Oathsworn, gained a life and 3 counters, cast the Oathsworn again (since she gained a life from sacrificing him) and just kept at it! That's pretty bananas!

Lua, you had 9 permanents in play when you played the timestream navigator, by the way, so you were close to ascend. Either way I really enjoy this channel and it's always enjoyable and entertaining to watch

and when Lua attacked with with the Storm Fleet Navigator the parley gave 3 map tokens, so 3 tokens, 2 creatures and 5 land. City's blessing was achieved before the turn was even passed since its checked constantly as part of state based actions.

The death trigger handed out by Clavileño draws a card in addition to making the demon token. I think they’re a strong face commander

I love watching Precon battles, because they always feel more balanced...and this set is no different. Each deck had its own lane that it was suited for, but the game overall felt really competitive. I am sure some folks are going to make some strong upgrades, but as they stand they each feel good.

This group of 4 is probably my favorite pairing to watch play games 😊. Gishath is the first commander deck I ever put together years ago but vampires are my favorite tribe to play lol. So looking forward to grabbing these decks to see if I can make an orzhov vamp deck to go toe to toe with my Edgar deck lol.

Blade of the bloodchief however will not because it's not a creature dying but it is still a permanent being sacrificed. same whem lua sacrificed her terramorphic expanse, another Carmen trigger.
